I have used JR's Lawn Service multiple times on my flower beds for weed removal, maintenance, mulching and even planting, for over a year now. They always go the extra mile and I have even seen them out working late at my house until dark during the evening. They always pay attention to what I am asking for and so far I have had a proposal back to me within 24 hours, all for a reasonably priced services; that is pretty impressive and I am very appreciative of that. I will continue to use them for my flower beds and will highly recommend their services.

Due to the assigned crew members becoming ill, the office manager moved other crew members in order to have enough workers to accomplish the lawn maintenance in one day. Very pleased with the appearance of the front and back yard flower beds.  I would use them again.

I want to say what a wonderful job the company did. I hired them to trim a tree in my front yard that was drooping almost to the ground, and to trim up my hedges.   I wasn't expecting the results.  The tree looks amazing, and the hedges are great also.  I have been using JRs Lawn Service for many years just for lawn but also for a couple of other jobs as well.  NEVER disappointed.  I highly recommend the for you lawn care or yard card need.

I asked them to come out and provide an estimate for some work and the guy didn't let me know he was at my house and refused to come back so I could discuss with him what I'm looking for.  Wasted time!!!! Look elsewhere!!! Unprofessional!! I will be looking elsewhere for services!!!

I can't seem to figure out how to reply to the owners response. But calling me a liar should be a CLEAR indication to EVERY potential customer the kind of folks you are dealing with.

You called me at 11:17am to say the person providing an estimate would be at my home in 8 minutes.  Per my conversation with the person who answered the phones, I wanted to speak with the person who came out to provide an estimate to discuss details on what I'm thinking and get feedback. He didn't knock on my door or call again to see if I would come out of my house to meet him. I had no idea he was even here!! The quote given to me isn't even what I asked for either. I told the lady on the phone that I am ONLY interested in flower bed details, not mowing of grass but the estimate includes that!!

Unprofessional and rude (again proof is in the owners comment by calling a customer a LIAR!)! BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!!

We called this morning to notify we were on our way. You did not answer. We left you a voice message stating we would be there in 8 min. Still no call back from you. We still came out took pictures and emailed you an estimated as requested. Please stop lying and wasting everyone’s time. This is not how we do business. I would not use this company, nothing but problems from the beginning. I was double charged for the deposit and first service charge, had to call them to get them to refund that money. They cut my lawn shorter than I wanted, it looked scalped to me, so I cancelled my service. Then when I cancelled my service I had to hound them to return my original deposit, they kept saying that they already returned it, yes, they returned the second one which I was wrongly charged, but they still owed me the original deposit. Then they said they returned it but didn’t actually. I finally got my deposit back almost 2 months after I cancelled my service.

Bottom line: Their accounting sucks. I hired the service to give me more free time, however I spent more time trying to fix their accounting errors that it wasn’t worth it. I would NOT recommend anyone use them.

Wow. . . pretty unprofessional. If I’m paying for a service, I expect it to be done. All of it. I hired these guys to do my lawn, and they tried to leave without completing the job. First and last time I’ll use them.

Be aware other local lawn and landscapers. At 2204 Habert Dr. Pearland Tx 77581. This lawn has not been mowed for about 2 months and it was almost knee high! This customer paid $50 for a cut and the crew spent almost 2 hours to satisfy his needs. He didn’t want the crew to leave. The crew even went beyond and did extra work of trimming a shrub along the back fence. The crew completed the work as promised even though the lawn was extremely high and some areas was full of water from the rain we recently had. This customer Aaron Woods is obviously the grinch on the block. The neighbors did not have good things to say about him. So keep in mind if your lawn is a jungle and hasn’t been maintained in months don’t expect it to look like a weekly lawn maintenance. Found JR's via Google search. I scheduled a free estimate and received it same day. Price was reasonable so I setup my online account and paid for service on a Friday. Monday morning the crew arrived to cleaned and mulch my beds. They did quality work and were finished within an hour. They even put all my garden decorations back in place. Thank you JR's for a great customer experience.

I found this company via google and loved the idea of an online customer portal to submit payments and manage appointments with. I take a lot of pride in my yard and usually take care of the maintenance myself, but due to extenuating circumstances I was not able to maintain it last week when I scheduled JR’s lawn service to come out. I scheduled for a Friday and they came the day before, which I initially was fine with- until I walked outside and saw their work. They left large ruts all over my yard, knocked over my potted plants, and ran through my gardens, killing plants that were gifted to me by a family member. In the backyard, they made absolutely no attempt to mow. They took a weed eater over some spots and left others completely untouched. I called to complain and the person who I spoke with did not seem concerned at all stating that she would call the crew and would talk to the manager. I called back a few hours later to make sure that they would not be returning to “fix” their mistakes as I, in all honesty, did not want them back in my yard. After the second call they offered me a full refund. In my experience, this company has no pride in their work, and no respect for their customers’ homes. I will be working for months to fix the damage they did to my yard. If you need a decent lawn service do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
