  Not an honorable business in my opinion. I inquired about Christmas lights being hung with home advisor and was called by several companies to get estimates. J Co. was one of them. I was contacted by J Co. given a bid and the conversation ended with me telling the representative that I would let them know once I got the other estimates. 2 days later J Co. called and texted me saying they only have 1 slot left before thanksgiving and if I wanted it I needed to make a decision before 1pm or the slot would be given away. Feeling pressured my wife and I agreed to take the slot. I paid a 10% deposit on Nov 2. The work was to be done Nov 16. The very next day I got another estimate from a local company that I liked better. I contacted J Co. 2 days after I agreed to their bid to let them know that I had decided to hire a different company and wanted to get my deposit back and the representative told me no. He said that he held the slot for me so he lost business because of that. I asked him if he was able to fill the slot would he be able to refund my deposit because at that point he wouldn’t be losing any business. He told me no he’s not returning my deposit. I don’t believe this is an honorable business but you guys can decide for yourself. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone unless I was in an extremely desperate situation.

  Super company! They keep my lawn looking great - greenest on the block and I haven't had moles in years! This past year they did my Christmas lights too and I was so pleased. Myself and my neighbor use them for pest control and we LOVE it....no ants running through the kitchen and no ticks in the back yards!! I would recommend these guys to anyone! -Hillsboro, MO

  They rioped the lights off my house while I was in the hospital as we were taking my mom off life support 4 days before Christmas.!!!! I hired J Co Lawn to put holiday lights on my house as they have done for the last 4 years. The lights were installed in early October. I turned them on Thanksgiving and noticed a strand parcially hanging off the top of the house and a few bulbs were not lit. I called and left a message as such, Withour a return call or notice the issue was resolved but to my surprise I was sent a $50 service fee. I contacted them and stated I had not idea I would be charged and I just turned the lightsvin firvyhr first time and there wasn’t electric from the garage yet fir them to be tested when installed .i was told they didn’t charge me to hang the strand that wax off the house but to replace the two bulbs , I stated I didnt think that was fair they should have told me first that they were coming and there was a charge. I wanted to discuss the bill and possibly compromise. I have been dealing with my mom whose health is failing. I got a text about the bill and repeatedly told them I was at the hospital and what I was dealing with. They demanded payment and I stated I could not talk and would sent a bill pay check when I left the hospital. Instead they texted the lights are coming down at 5. Prior to 5 I have a video from Our Next Camera a man ripped the lights off the house.
