I had these guys tune up and fix our snowblower last year and it ran the best it ever has during the snow storms this year!  I was so glad I had them do the repair and just had them pickup our mower for a tune up as well.  They make it so easy with their online form through FB, I highly recommend them for all your small engine repairs!  Great place!!

I used Individualized Repair again…they picked up mower, diagnosed, and brought it back to me a couple of days later.   Martin knows his stuff and his staff is knowledgeable and professional.  I have been going to this business for years, and highly recommend.  I know that I can go there, get a straight answer, get equipment serviced and pay a fair price.

It's not a fancy shop but if you want your lawn mower serviced at a fair price then this is the place to go. The mechanics seem to know their small engines and despite being busy will get your mower back to you in reasonable time. I've gone to some of the flashier places and paid the price. I recommend giving these guys and gals a try and they won't rip you off. I definitely will be going back to them.

They were very courteous and easy to deal with. I called them about my snow blower it was picked up the same day and brought back the next day.

I started using this shop years ago, and was very satisfied with the quality of work and service. Recently I called and explained exactly what was going on with my riding mower. The right blade was not working properly. I was told it may have a bad spindle assembly which made sense. I also asked for the blades to be replaced. Before it went in the mower would stall when engaging the PTO. I get it back and the spindle assembly wasn’t addressed and it did the same thing as before going in. I called and was rightfully angry that the problem wasn’t fixed at all. The response was adamant that the mower ran perfect while cutting grass before I got it back and how dare I be upset with the situation. I had a friend stop by to investigate what was really going on. We discovered the bearing in the spindle had ceased hence why the mower stalled when the PTO was activated, but the worst part was I took off the nut holding that blade on by hand. That was horrifying to discover. I have always wanted to support local self made businesses, however I recommend going to an established shop that does quality work. The only positive thing about this was my payment was returned.

Aaron you contacted me saying your mower was not running properly after we returned it. I apologized and let you know that I did test it out and mow with it before bringing it back and it worked great. I never said you should not be frustrated with the situation. I immediately offered a refund for the issue but when you got disrespectful I let you know it also. I have taken care of how many hours worth of freebies and taken care of you over the years Aaron when you got burned by others but I guess all of that is forgotten now. I know not what the issue was still with the mower but you told me that you and your neighbor fixed it after I returned it...I just mower a quarter acre before bringing it back...i refunded you anyway sir... all of our equipment goes through numerous safety checks before leaving and the blades were definitely tight when it was returned. Sorry for the issue...

I have taken my zero turn in twice for service and Martin has always been super helpful when I had questions. I have a small lawn care service and was looking for a quality business to create a relationship with and I believe I found it with individualized repair. Took 2 mowers in to be looked at.  They do offer free pickup and delivery, which is nice.  However, we received a call that neither mower was in their opinion worth fixing.  Ok, they're old and have a few things wrong, so we'll take the $400 mower offered instead.  Asked if we could pick up the other 2 to possibly take the decks off and sell to someone who just wanted a lawn tractor.  Well one mower was junked before we got there, and the second one was parked well away from the shop. The kid who tried to help us load it said something to the effect that "this is where we parked it when we took it off the trailer."  The shop owner came out and was grumpy, he kept talking about how they were "money pits" and not worth fixing.  I was able to get the mower to fire, but somehow (and I'm not specifically blaming the shop) between the time I parked the mower for the winter and the day we came to get it on the trailer, the transmission stopped working.  Ultimately, we ended up driving away without the "broken" mower since we couldn't get it on the trailer.

Eric, we picked up your two mowers from almost an hour away for no charge, both being from the middle of nowhere and 20 minutes apart(down the road you said). When we estimated them your mother told me you did not want them back and to deliver the used one we had for sale when it was finished. I called to confirm delivery of the mower you were buying the following day. I was then called after this mower was loaded and driver was on the way already 30 minutes away (free delivery) and asked to bring the junk ones back. I told her we could but it would not be that day as we were on the way. They are both actually still at the shop, we did not junk either one of them. We do not want them, this is not something we make money on or like to do. It is another free service for disposal that we offer. You came without a working winch trying to get an 800 lb mower up onto your trailer after we told you we could deliver both back no charge (we have a working winch that makes it possible and very easy) I talked with your mom mostly so maybe this is where the disconnect came in.. We were also willing to deliver back another day ourselves for no charge. We charged you nothing for diagnostics or pick up and there is a reason we estimate things first. Both of these mowers were over 20 years old, I am glad you did not waste any money on fixing them.

Most honest repair shop anywhere!  This spring he fixed my old Craftsman lawn mower for only $90; then it stopped working.  After checking it out again, it was discovered that it had low compression most likely caused by low oil in the past. Even though it was not his fault, he offered to give my $90 back.  I asked if he had any used lawn mowers for sale.  He had a used Toro available for $150 but he let me have it for the $90 I had invested into the old Craftsman.  The Toro ran great all summer and I am very happy.  This shop is fair and trustworthy!

Very poor service.  We could have taken the Toro in and out the next Day at a local Toro Dealer. Decided to work with a local shop to support the local small businesses during Covid. Not only have I been hung up on by the owner now 3 times but he is saying that it’s going to take more time to “clean the carburetor”.  It’s been two weeks now and he’s over his original quote price of the tune up.  It doesn’t take 10 business days to get parts now a days & even then, why wasn’t this being worked on when you were waiting on the parts?

Poor service all around, the guy needs an answering service and a lesson in professionalism. He really hung up on me when I asked why it hadn’t been completed yet?  What kind of business hangs up on a paying customer?

Tom, after reflecting on our last conversation about why things were taking longer than anticipated I am sorry you now feel this way.. This mower was brought in by someone other than yourself who told us that the only issue was the self propelled not working. It was brought in on 10/14/20, we called her with an estimate after checking it out 10/16/20 and left a message. We talked with the owner of the mower about this on 10/16/20 when she called back and she gave the ok to fix the mower. The parts were ordered Monday 10/19/20 since this was a Friday afternoon. Parts came in Wednesday 10/21/20. We installed the belt and self propelled spring. The mower would not start so we called to get the ok for cleaning the carburetor since it was beyond the original scope. I have heard nothing back from the owner of the mower about fixing this yet on 10/23/20. Not sure where 10 days for parts came from it still has not been 10 days. Also not sure where you come into this equation.... Far as being hung up on three times that is an outright lie.

UPDATE: Just talked to the actual owner of the mower, the customer herself, she says she has been very happy with our services so far.. She said she told you that it wasrelayed to us she was in no hurry for the mower to be completed and that it may take about a week.. She also said that you were trying to buy this mower from her and that you needed to cut your grass...you are not the paying customer in this case at all sir nor the one being contacted about status updates. Sorry we didn't please you in some way...
