  Brand new house and the yard wasn't done correctly. No hand work was done around the foundation and it's like a trench that holds water. I called and asked for it to be fixed and they were a no show. One of my trees died and they would not replace it. Instead I was blamed and accused of not watering it, thought the other tree is very healthy. Back yard was not preped to the specs given. It now holds water and doesn't runoff. The ground along the driveway and side walks are rough and not leveled. Asked for river rock and was given pee-gravel. No one ever got with us to plan the yard or the flower beds until the day they showed up to do the yard. We had no time to plan and was rushed. Definitely would not recommend.

  Hodges was hired to install my lawn after our new home construction. They spent a total of three hours, did not smooth or prepare the soil for seeding, left tire track ruts, and sloppily threw seed and thinly applied straw. They charged $1500.00 for their three hours of bad work. When I asked if they would return in the Spring and do the job as it should be, I was told they would return but I would be charged for any work needed to make the results acceptable. It is bad enough their work was shoddy but the unprofessional response to NOT stand behind their work is the benchmark of a company not to be used or trusted.

  Hodges always arrives with a team of people that get in and get the job done. They are the people we can count on when we needed help cutting our overgrown grass from all of the rains we got this spring.
