  They used to handle our mowing but they always missed the edges of the yard and then ignored us when we tried to contact them. One day I went out and asked then if they would please be mindful of missing the edges of the yard and if they could trim under the bushes. Didn't know that was a separate service. The person mowing blew his stack at me. We changed to a new service. We do not advise these people.

  Really pleased with our decision to hire Hillyard's Landscaping services for our yard. The work was done very efficiently with a really nice outcome. We did have to wait longer than expected to have our yard serviced, yet this was to no fault of the business. I would have appreciated a few more updates from the owner but otherwise very professional, good customer service,a nd great work. Thanks to Danny and his hard working employees for working through the intense heat to provide us a beautiful yard to enjoy.

  Very disappointed in Hillyard's. Contracted them last year to take-over our lawn care (primarily weed control, mulching, fertilizing and some shrubbery clean up). Started out great and very happy with them. This year we contracted for the same services. They completed the mulching as contracted but have yet to complete our "spring clean up." They put both services on the same bill so I held off paying it since they hadn't yet completed the spring clean up portion. I finally gave in and paid it hoping that would prompt them to do the job, but no response. My wife texted the owner multiple times with maybe one or two responses. The gist was that the rainy spring had put them behind but they would get to us. As summer progressed I couldn't wait any longer as our shrubs were severely overgrown and was assuming we were out the money we paid them. They showed up briefly one day and trimmed one hedge row (I paid them over $800) and that was it. We texted them asking when they'd be back to finish and heard they tried to come back but our road was blocked (installing gas lines with through traffic allowed - plus we live in Linntown where there are multiple ways to get to our house). Haven't heard from them since. Will not be using them in the future. Hopefully this will prompt a response?? Nothing else has.
