Do not hesitate! Do not hesitate to buy from Hilly Ridge in Mt. Pleasant. Kevin helped me do most of the transaction over the phone, and once I got to the store I was treated as a valued customer. I was blown away from the big details such as great prices and selection, to the little details of putting all the mower manuals in organized binders for me. I will be a customer for life. Well worth the ride from anywhere! You will not be disappointed.

Guys at the counter are generally pretty helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Chainsaw and lawnmower blade sharpening turn around many times takes a few days. I keep a few backups of each on hand and that coupled with the fact the store is close to home and they don't charge much more than what other places do makes getting it done here a no-brainer for me. Many of their stock showroom items, implements and ancillary equipment prices are pretty steep. Consequently I recommend doing a quick price comparrison on your cell before you buy. Case in point I recently looked at a reflective caution triangle and trailer lights in their showroom and found each for less than half the price elsewhere. Last year I spent a good deal of time with Kevin, their equipment salesman, trying to get a good deal on a tractor/loader but he never made me an attractive offer. Ended up getting more tractor for my money by going to Hoover where I purchased a 50hp Kioti (They even threw in a nice set of forks for the loader to sweeten the deal.) While Mahindra certainly has a good reputation, thus far I haven't found my Kioti to be substandard by any means to to my new neighbor's Mahindra that they purchased shortly after I bought my tractor. (Mahindra being the brand Hilly Ridge sells)
