  I tried because I have heard great things about this company, I watched them work next door and across the street from my house during the summer and winter. This winter I decided to give them a call when we were hit with back to back snow storms I tried calling early before the snow fall. Hietala lawn service they never answered never called back my neighbor give me there number I left a message twice. no respond then when I seen a gentleman (Hietala) pushing snow in a drive way across the street not only did he act as that I wasn't even there, he said "I am to busy today" I said okay then I though you are across the street and then he came next door doing the driveway I was willing to pay above the average fees to get a plow. I couldn't believe how he never showed a once of empathy to assist, it would be hard to use a company even though they are big and seem to have the man power but poor customer service.

  We have been very happy with Hietala Lawn. Over the many years in business, we have worked with a number of lawn care companies - and they have been, by far, the best we've used. They have never cut corners or rushed through our lawn care. Great attention to detail and consistent service.

  The crews are great. They even came back after the weather was bad after their last visit. They had left leaves on the tree lawn and street. They cleaned the whole yard. Great Job. Hietala was great but it’s gone downhill. Last year I hired them to mulch my backyard beds. After fall clean up my lawn is covered in mulch. It’s hard to grow a lawn when it’s covered in mulch. I have raked my lawn 3 times and I still have mulch on my lawn. Now the guy won’t call me or respond to my emails. Hietala is a lawn killer.
