  Posting the Edit to respond to the owners claims that I was not a customer first: The owner is trying to weasel his way out of accountability again based on a technicality. The Heritage quote and work was listed under the name of my wife, but the payments went from my bank account. I have 14 unreturned phone calls in August and September last year and texts that were ignored. I don't believe that you magically grew a conscience this year and want to right things now. I have also attached a screenshot of my bank statement showing the 3 checks ($2230 x 3) to prove that I was indeed a customer. The first 2 checks were deposited to the account held by Heritage and Company. The third check seems to have been deposited to a different account at TCF bank. Funny how my name was not an issue while you were cashing the checks. Also, a lot of the 5* reviews are from employees. Explains a lot Review: We hired Heritage Landscaping in May 2021 to covert our weed infested yard to a lawn. The yard has clay soil and is a challenge to work with. Drainage is a concern and we were quoted a little under $7000 to plant grass seed and fix the drainage issue. Fast-forward to August 2021 and we were getting quotes starting from $5k from more competent landscapers to redo the horrible job that Heritage did on our yard. The grass seed was poorly distributed and there was no instructions on how to ensure success. We cared for and helped start the new lawn as per instructions from a local landscaper. The grade is terrible. There are large water puddles after every drizzle. The grass is patchy and the weeds have dominated over 70% of the yard. Heritage pressured me to complete my final payment as soon as the "work was done" and then proceeded to treat me like a leper. THe proprietor is infuriating with his lack of concern and his blatant disregard for accountability. They are deceptively polite during the initial stages of the process. YOu have to beg and plead for weeks to have them return a call and will make you absolutely regret dealing with them. I am frankly surprised by the positive reviews this place has and would hope that you reconsider before picking this terrible company. I have attached pictures for reference (dated 08/10/2021) along with the subsequent quotes that we received a few months after Heritage spread their incompetence all over our yard. It's worse in person. The pictures don't do Heritage LLC any justice.

  We needed to find a landscaping company to help redo our backyard this year and I’m so happy we found Heritage. Paul and the whole crew did an amazing job and we were extremely happy with the experience. Any question or concern we had - Paul always had an answer or solution. We knew we were in good hands and cannot recommend them enough. I can’t believe how amazing our backyard looks! Thanks again, Heritage!
