  We had a very large tree which had significant rot on one half while the other half was relatively healthy. Hayes scheduled an appointment to look at the job, arrived on time and gave me a price on the spot. After reviewing a couple other similar bids which were around the same price I chose Hayes as they were punctual. They arrived at 8AM with a dumpster, lift, chipper, tractor and worked non-stop until the job was done which for the size of the tree and its compromised base was completed in less than 4 hours. Everything was cleaned up and we could not be happier with the results. They told me Hayes Services provides more than tree service and I will certainly contact them if we have needs in any other areas of their expertise.

  Found Hayes on Home Advisor looking for some excavation rock removal and grading. Our lot is a very steep slope running from backyard down to our road. There was absolutely no way to play with the kids safely in this yard, as there were many rocks protruding from the ground and you were either running up the steep grade of our yard or trying not to fall as you ran down the yard to get the ball. I called Hayes Services and Kurt came out within 48 hrs. We discussed what I wanted to do and within 48 hrs Kurt provided me a written quote, which fit perfectly into our budget. I will say that I had waited a week to 10 days to confirm with Kurt that we wanted to break ground. This caused the project to get held up a couple weeks because business picked up significantly for Hayes within that 7-10 day window. So, from quote to start date was about a month. This was my fault. I had no idea the demand for their services. Upon the start date, Hayes showed with an excavator and skid-steer. There we two operators named Don and Dylan. We had a 5 minute discussion just go over what Kurt and I had discussed, then they went to work. I came home from work about 6 hours later and every rock that was sticking out of the ground had been integrated into a long boulder wall. They leveled out a large flat terrace behind the wall that was more than perfect for the space we were looking for! All the space in front of the wall had been grated nicely. We were very happy. Kurt came by to check on the progress and we discussed adding some top soil and hydro-seeding. The next day the guys were back at it. We had 30+ yards of fill delivered and they spread it out across the new terrace and space in front of the wall. Then the top soil. The transformation in a couple days was unbelievable! The seeded showed up ready to go, but there was an issue with the machine. The next morning the seeder was back and they seeded the yard. The transformation is a couple of days was absolutely incredible! All of the guys at Hayes that worked our job were very professional and worked hard! I can't say enough good things about Don and Dylan. They worked awesome as a team, were polite, and informative. Kurt was very professional, easy to talk to, and worked with us so we could stay within our budget. We couldn't have had a better experience on all facets of this job. We have already recommended Hayes to a couple family members and they have since hired Hayes as well. We will definitely be calling Hayes again, when its time to do our front yard and tree removal. Thank you guys. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.

  My husband and I have worked with Kurt and crew a couple of times now. We couldn't be happier. They work so hard and know how to get things done beautifully and with top notch skills. They are all such nice "Can Do" people, it's an absolute pleasure to have them on a project. Kurt is so reliable and extremely well outfitted to handle just about anything. We highly recommend him. And we trust and value the service he and his crew provide. We are thankful to him and his amazing crew for transforming our yard into a place we're proud to call home.
