Great place! Everyone is extremely helpful! From Blake and Hunter on the maintenance side helping with repairs to equipment to the crews helping load Pinestraw, Mulch, Top soil, to Cameron and the guys inside. Great, professional business. 10/10 would recommend giving them your business. And a shout out to Southern Oaks Landscaping. Them guys are able to do a great job with the help and support from Hartley!

I've stopped by on two occasions to make a purchase for two zero-turns and on both occasions had Poor Customer Service which is most important. I really wanted to keep my purchase locally but that did it for me. Customer service should always be the Up most important.

Mr Harris – I feel that I must write a lengthy response to this review because of how much I truly care about my customers and providing the best customer service experience when doing business at my store. You called the store and asked to speak to the owner about your displeasure in a recent shopping experience. As soon as I was told about this, I immediately called you back and wanted to know all about what happened and how we could address the situation and correct the problem. You stated that you were shocked I called so quickly and that you really appreciated my call back. We had a pleasant conversation and you explained to me that you had been by the store back in April and that we were very busy the day you came by. You told me that you decided to come by and shop with us because you had heard nothing but great things about Hartley Equipment and that a lot of your coworkers shop with us and are very happy with the service they receive. You stated that during your visit in April, your wife, child, and you were outside looking at mowers and one of my sales associates had come outside helping a customer that had already been there and that he did not make it a point to say hey to you guys and that this gave you an uneasy feeling. You told me that this was the only real complaint that you had during your visit and I never heard any specifics as to why you are saying that you had a bad first shopping experience. I have tried very hard to admit to you that us not acknowledging you guys was a major mistake but that it was not done intentionally or to be rude at all - we were just very busy at the time! I promise you that if we would have finished helping the customers we already had there, then you would have been more than happy with your visit to Hartley Equipment. Keep in mind that this was in the middle of COVID-19, and we had put several changes in place on how we were performing our normal day to day business. We were only allowing two customers at a time in the showroom and at most times throughout the day there were several customers patiently waiting their turn on the front porch (right next to all the mowers we have for sale); therefore, if we did not speak to you, then it was definitely not because we did not want to earn your business, but because we honestly probably thought you were just waiting your turn outside to come in the showroom or just shopping and then would come inside when you were ready to speak with a sales associate. We are a small business and only usually have two people that work the showroom / front counter that are juggling a multitude of task all at once and during all this they must answer the phone that is usually ringing off the hook, so if we have a lot of customers all at once then we just try our best to help the next person in line. We make every attempt possible to try to acknowledge anyone that is waiting but this is sometimes just not possible. I wanted to note in my response to your review that I have spoken to you two separate times about your shopping experience for a combined 30 minutes on the phone (these were both very nice conversations and I really thought we were all good and you were okay with everything) and I even reached out to you on my personal cell phone to let you know that I am available to help you with any lawn equipment needs you may have and even offered to help you grow your lawn business. Then I get a notification about this google review and I am honestly shocked to see that you have left a 1-star review of my business. I have certainly gone above and beyond to try to show you how important customer service is to me and my business. I hope that one day we can have the opportunity to show you that we do have the customer service reputation that you stated you heard we do.
