  Seen plenty of their work, not good at all. Bunch of young guys that just wanna go home it seems like and not complete or even check their own work. With all the guys working not one can spot all the problems.. sad. And the time it takes to complete simple tasks...Poor buisness skills all around. I have plenty of videos and pictures I will post soon, since I don't own where they did the work, but I have lived on the property for over 3 years while renting. So I think I can still leave honest reviews of the work I have seen this company do!

  I hired Halter Landscaping to grade my yard and seed. They were also to create 2 new parking areas. They did all the work on June 8th and 9th 2020 but as you can see the quality is low. I watered the grass for 3 weeks twice a day. The results are in the photos. As you can see a bunch of patchy spots where nothing grew. There are no straight edges in the parking area, 5 or 6 of the pathway stones rock back and forth. To top it all off he said if he did the front and back yard at the same time I would get a discount, which I did not. I work nights so my wife wrote the check while I was sleeping. Oh I almost forgot that they cut in new flower bed and within a week I had weeds in the flower beds. What you see in the photos I spent a total of $9150. $6650 to Halter and $2500 for 3 loads of topsoil and 2 loads of millings. Does it look like a nearly 10K job to you?

  Cori, We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the work we completed. We are disappointed that you did not first contact us directly with your concerns and give us a chance to address them. We were professional through the whole process, even though you were not professional through your communication with us. We informed you that this project required overseeding the grass to come in correctly, you declined to have that done. We informed you that the natural stone would settle and might need extra fill over the coming weeks and to let us know that had happened, but you did not contact us. As for the price, once we sent you the quote with the prices in advance, you approved it. We then increased the number of stones and area of the walkway because your original design did not work at no additional cost. We go above and beyond for our clients, but it takes two-way communication and the understanding of natural processes that things need adjustment over time. And you just needed to reach out.

  We hired Halter Landscaping for our weekly grass cutting and then had them replace a fence in the backyard. Along with the fence we had them remove a small tree and bushes. They did an amazing job. They arrived on time each day. They alway were polite and friendly. If I needed anything the owner was always available. They reseeded and it looked great until our own dogs ripped it up. During Covid they worked hard to find all the materials we wanted for the fence, which was a difficult task. I would hire them again for work that needs to be done- we continue to use them for grass cutting on a weekly basis.
