Great store. The people are always helpful, the prices are very competitive, and they have a surprisingly big selection for what looks like a small store.

Love any independent and locally owned hardware store

My husband went in there not realizing that they closed at 6 o clock and rather then kindly letting him know that they are closing they were very rude to him and told him he had to check out right that second or leave. This was only 1 minute after closing and he had everything that he needed but maybe 2 items which would have taken him all of 2-3 minutes to grab. Again, I have worked customer service before and understand the frustration of customers who come in the eye last second to shop. However, he did not intentionally walk in at the last minute and then could have kindly let him know they were closing and asked if they could help with the last few items. It would have only taken all of five minutes. Instead they were very rude and snarky about it.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  I am so sorry your husband had that experience in our store.  I have met with my employees and reiterated our customer service policy, and that it applies even at closing time.

Customer service is extremely important to us, we will strive to do better next time and hope that your husband tries us again.

Love this place. Very friendly and helpful. Full lone Milwaukee tool dealer. Great selection of hardware, electrical, plumbing, and home decor. And I cannot forget the SALSA!!! Sassy Salsa locally made and delicious! Shop small town, shop here!

Always have what I need & so handy when in a hurry.  Love, love the non-hardware items.  I can always find a gift here

Love this place!
Perfect name. They are very helpful,  but the best is all the variety of items they carry.
Wonderful to look at all the neat non hardware items.
Local honey, old goats pain cream,  among many other great decorative items.
Well worth the stop to shop.
Even have neat kids riding toys.

Great except need to be able. To write my checks for my purchases. I have written checks in your establishment 2 times in a little over a week ago but this gentleman I had to use my psychology credit card. He was very nice about everything. He does follow rules. Thank you. Paulette waldron

Hi Paulette, Thanks for the great review.  Sorry that we would not accept your check today.  We have a policy to not accept checks for purchases because we got hit with $1700 in bad checks a couple of years ago.  We could no longer afford this risk.  We do rarely take checks on a case by case basis totally dependent upon whether the individual employee will accept responsibility for the check.  Again thanks for the chance to further explain our policy.
