  I live in a new construction community by NV Homes and they use Groom Lawn. I took time off to watch the sod installation. I had to help correct them a multiple times to make sure that the sod was installed tightly with no gaps. The crew did a good job overall but someone shouldn't have to get down an help them install the sod correctly to get the job completed well. Unfortunately it rained so they had to leave early which is understandable (completed about 2/3 of the yard). They came back the next day to work (I had to go to work so i wasn't home) but they ran out of sod. While this sucks, it's understandable. A couple days go by and they come out to sod it yet again. Still didn't finish it. It took a total of 4 times for them to come complete my yard. Even more frustrating was the lack of attention to detail that the sod was installed on the 1/3 of the remaining portion of my lawn. There are gaps in between the sod (due to placement not shrinkage since i took pictures the day it was laid down), and whole sheets that are brown/look dead. I'm very disappointed with the quality of Groom Lawn.
