  Having decided to list our property I got in touch with Mike at Green Carolina who were located nearby. I had never used their service prior to but I had several projects in the works needing attention before the listing occurred, many of which I did not have time to do myself. Was delighted when Mike & crew were able to respond quickly and attend to these tasks which included driveway improvement, numerous plantings, mulching and trimming numerous browned palm tree stalks. I found their work to be detail oriented and high quality. Too, Mike was kind enough to haul off a bunch of deteriorated lumber taken down during a recent deck upgrade. He and his crew even pitched in to load it all in their refuse trailer... all at no extra charge! Saved me about $300 for a waster container rental. Based upon my experience I strongly recommend Green Carolina Landscape Contractors.

  Think again if you are thinking of hiring this company! Our neighbor behind us built a pool and now elevated his property 13 inches higher than ours. I had the unfortunate experience of rightfully asking his landscaper, Mike Fairbairn, about the drainage system that was hopefully (but was not) installed on the property line. I found him to be rude, having no personal skills in dealing with people, cutting me off, and most of all having an attitude. Several times, his workers several were 25 feet onto our property, taking out grass and vegetation. Yet, when I questioned and told him they were not to be there, the attitude was I had no right to ask him anything at all. Beware. As you know contractors will come across as pleasant and wanting to please to get the sale. This will be an ACT by Mike Fairbairn.
