  In 2021 I took my hustler mower to great western outdoor I had full service done on mower I was advised steering motor was bad and needed replaced I agreed to have them replace steering motor at a cost of over 1,000.00 picked up mower mowed one time and it shredded the new drive belt so I loaded up on trailer and used my other mower for the rest of the season I took mower back last week to great western for repairs went back today to pickup mower I asked why it shredded the belt and was told it had the wrong belt. Total bill today was 115.02 for a new belt and labor for their mistake. They said that the person that made the mistake was no longer working for them but I was charged anyway I would not recommend them to anybody got a call from GM waiting on his response this is in response to the owners text. Insult to injury 🤕

  We reached out to Mr. Woodard in attempts to make this right. He refused to talk on the phone in professional manner. He also refused a full refund in which we are still glad to honor if he changes his mind. We did make a mistake here, and the store manger and owner have contacted Mr. Woodard to no avail. The only request was for us to admit we “made a mistake” so here we are, admitting fault. Hope this helps everyone see we truly try to do right by our customers and are humans that make mistakes.   I recently brought in my 2 older model Stihl chainsaws for maintenance. Both had not been started and used in well over a year. The staff was friendly and familiar with the models I brought in. They discussed options and I left the saws for service. Not a full time NC resident I expected the service may take a couple of weeks and I would pick them up on my next trip. I was very surprised to hear that both saws were successfully overhauled by Jim in one day! Went in and picked them up before I left NC. Both were back in great running order and the cost for the maintenance was well below what I was prepared to spend considering the shape they were in. I fully recommend SOE, Marion for equipment service and repairs!
