I called to schedule a Christmas Light installation on my home. I didn’t even need a quote. I didn’t care how much it was going to cost. I was told they could perform the service December 7th and I would receive a confirmation call with further details. I never received the call. I proceeded to call the company twice more over a week long period to finalize the installation appointment. Each time I called I was assured I would be contacted for my appointment soon. The last time I called I was told they could no longer accommodate me and asked if I’d like to schedule a light installation for next year?! No thank you. I don’t want to do business with a company this year or next that has such horrible service.

I’m a little disappointed to be honest. We got a mailer from them for Christmas lights, and i called to schedule someone to come out. He didn’t call me back so i followed up, and we did get a quote on a timely manner so that was great once they came out for a free quote. I got the quote back and made adjustments to what we were really hoping to have. $400 to wrap lights on a small porch wasn’t in our budget (didn’t want to spend $1,300 for Christmas lights) so we decided to do a Wreath and lights on the whole house to start with this year. Once i told them that, the manager came back and said they have a $800 minimum for install. No where does it say that on their quote — really didn’t think we were worth the business. Maybe we were too far for it to be worth Their time - not sure. Either way, we will be going with someone else / sticking to doing it ourselves. We wanted to just see how it worked with them this year and add more over the coming years I love Christmas lights…. What a shame.

I have been a customer for many years and have been happy with the company until this last year. I am continuously being billed for service that has not been done (I have security footage to prove it). When I call their office to question the bill, the lady who answers promises to have someone call me back, but no one ever does. I have called them no fewer than 4 times with no return call Then when a treatment Is done, it is from different companies who tell me they have been sub-contracted by Great Estates. I have been trying to speak with someone since last April about this, with no luck. I will definitely be looking for a new company.
