James and his crew has always exceeding our expectations. We have used Gilliland Lanscape over the years for hydro seeding, lawn fertilizer delivery and this past year had them take care of all our fertilization applications through out the year and we couldn’t be more pleased. Not sure if they do this for every customer but they would call the day before each application and ask if it was okay to show up the next day, I greatly appreciated this because there were a few times this past year where it wouldn’t have worked out well due to other projects going on and Gilliland kindly worked around our schedule each time! Thanks Gilliland and can’t wait to work together in the future again!!

We have used them for several years now ! Our lawn has never looked better. We live in the woods and grass just doesn't grow. They tested our soil. They made our lawn come to life and now we are proud of it. I'm so happy they now offer Organic Treatment Package ( with kids, pets and I'm immune compromised) We also have the flea and tick treatment and have had the lawn aerated. We recommend them to anyone. Just starting out with a lawn or your want it to stay beautiful give them a try....you won't be sorry!!

Very professional and quality delivery. Design was spot on what I needed, work was exceptional and on time. Entire project was about a week in length. Very expensive. Finally called me back after 3 weeks to basically tell me I couldn’t afford them. I did not want to spend over $3,000 and they told me that would barely cover the removal of plants and maybe only do one side of the house.   I recently moved from Pittsburgh and $3000 was enough to do the entire front entrance of our commercial building. Price out of range for us and I would think for most people.

Janelle, Sorry to see that you are unhappy with our team's respond time and answer to your request.  The return call respond time is something that has been addressed and we will work on improving.  As our designer indicated to you,  your specified budget would not allow us to present a competitive bid.  Typically a complete redo of a landscape planting; removal of existing material and installation of new plant material starts at $3500-$4000 depending on the type/variety of plant material.  That price can increase with the addition of a specialized specimen or two.  While we would like to be able to work for everyone that phones our office, we realize that in some cases our company is not a good fit.  This is one of those situations where the expectations do not meet the needs.  We appreciate your honesty and wish you luck with your project.

I used this company to put in a new retaining wall under my deck.  The old wall was leaning out and I was concerned it would damage my deck above.  I contacted the company and the owner came and looked at the wall and suggested how  he would construct the new wall,  He indicated that he had a number of jobs and gave me a time frame as to when it would be done.  He kept the forecasted time and the old wall was removed and the new wall was put it.  The crew working on the job was very skilled, cordial and did a terrific job.  I would not hesitate to recommend this company for consideration for landscaping work to be done at your home or business .

We used Gilliland's Landscape to redesign and construct a retaining wall by our firepit.  When we moved into our house we determined that a retaining wall that surrounded our gas-fed fire pit was over the property line. To fix the issue, we had to remove the existing retaining wall and reconstruct it so it was on our side of the property line.  James Gilliland and his team did a fabulous job in helping us to re-design and re-imagine what our retaining wall could look like along with it being landscaped.  James took the time to come to our house on two different occasions to talk with us regarding the design, taking into account the slope of the design and answered all of our questions. His assistant, Sara Sorbera, helped us to put together the documents that were needed for our HOA and walked us through the costs associated with the project.  She was fantastic.  The crew that worked on our project was attentive, through, punctual, and always professional.  We couldn't be happier with the finished project and our association with Gilliland's Landscaping.  I would easily recommend them for your landscaping or hardscaping project!!
