  We contracted gardenkeepers to mulch and weed our beds. My husband also bought a miniature maple and some arborvitaes which gardenkeepers planted for us. The miniature maple did not look healthy and I called about it a couple days later. I was told that it would leaf out fine and they would come trim it when it did. It never leafed out fine. Several calls were made to them about it and I was told I didn't water it enough, watered it too much, needed to fertilize it. I followed all instructions they gave me. This month I had a nursery person look at it and they said half the tree was dead. My husband was under the impression there was a one year warranty. He was never told otherwise. Our estimate for the original work noted that all plants had a one year warranty. They are refusing to refund our money saying the plants were on sale yet my husband was never told the warranty didn't apply and the paperwork does not say that either. Also we had someone else estimate this year for the same work as done last year and it was $1000 cheaper.
