  I went with Gardener of Eden because the price compared to other quotes for my yardwork seemed too good to pass up. Stacy seemed smart and professional. I regret it. I had dethatching and reseeding done as well as some topdressing spread over the lawn. Thatching consisted of one pass with the power rake (it takes 3+ to do a good job as I was repeatedly told by other quotes...should have listened) and my lawn remained covered in moss after the treatment. They also spread material with little attention to detail - I had to repeatedly point out where to spread to find low spots and became even more dissatisfied in the days after the work was done as I continue noticed more areas that were not done well. (couldn't inspect properly the day off because it was getting dark when they wrapped up because the crew wasted hours goofing off and joking around - oh and they left the garbage from their lunch/water bottles in my yard.) I spent hours myself with a rake the next day getting my lawn marginally acceptable. No matter how good the price, I would never do business with this company again. To Stacy's credit, my crew seemed to have a few people in training, but if that was the case they should have had a professional lead or Stacy herself should have been on site.
