Hired to put in paver patio. He never gave me anything in writing when I asked several times. He insisted that we could layout a 90degree herringbone pattern without making any cuts. He also didn't own a masonry saw Wich should be essential for being a landscaper. Juggling multiple jobs and showing up late everyday. He clearly was biting off more than he could chew. And when I learned that he was intending on completing the project without compacting the base.... That did it for me. I fired him and sent him on his way. There was red flags Poppin up all over with this guy but that was the deal breaker for me. He even suggested to let him finish the job then take him to court if I didn't like it. Wow! I got better things to do. My opinion is he aughtta stay away from landscaping and stick to mowing yards.
