G&S fixed a generator for us. They were actually nice enough to recommend a couple things before we handed it over to them. When we still weren't able to solve the problem ourselves we brought it in and they fixed it up for us. It wasn't expensive and it seems they did good work. Would highly recommend this business.

Well, perhaps I cought the guy behind the counter on a bad attitude day, but it is still no excuse for how rude he was. I brought in some mower blades to be sharpened that are for a brush hog, that were in very bad shape. When I walked in, I received no ”welcome” or ”how ya doing” or even a ”hello”. Instead, it was just a dirty look. I set the blades on the counter and was curtly asked what I wanted. I politely asked if they had time to sharpen the blades. I then received a number of rude comments, like, ”those aren't blades, those are shovels. It would take all afternoon to sharpen those. You better just go order new ones.” The guy was EXTREMELY RUDE, and in the end, I guess he didn't like making money. I told him ”alright, thanks” as nicely as I could at that point and left. I took the blades to another place, Trinity Recycling, where I was able to get the blades sharpened, in about 10 minutes. NOTE: Sharpening blades is not a normal service there, they we just nice enough to help out and listen to what I was looking for. I will never step foot back in this shop and you can bet that I will tell my friends, family, and co-workers this story, in hopes that they will do the same. For the record; These are not blades that I was expecting to be sharp enough to mow a golf course. I use them in a mostly dirt field, with rocks and other hazards. I was just hoping to get a little better edge on them. I WAS NEVER EVEN GIVEN THE CHANCE TO EXPLAIN WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. Finally; I would gladly pay twice the cost, for better service. Hopefully this post gets taken seriously, by potential customers and the owners of G&S Tool Clinic. I am always about helping a small business grow, but this one is not worth any more of my time. Good luck to all.

A lot of expertise resides within those walls. They resurrected a big, complicated snowblower for me nine years ago, and it hasn't needed anything since. They keep a thirty-two year old Gravely tractor reliably toiling away for me. They've tended to minor and major needs of several other machines, always with alacrity and aplomb. It's an amazing place.
