Great company and products!  From the none pressuring and very knowledgeable salesman who helped us build out and purchase our fireplace, to the awesome team of Matt and Beau who came out to install it, we really enjoyed the process of working with Ferguson's.  Matt and Beau were very friendly and personable, yet very professional and respectful of our home.  This was a huge purchase for our family, something we saved up to do, as we had no fireplace in our home.  Everything was newly built out by us, from framing to electrical and they were very supportive and gave a lot of great advice and knowledge during the process.  I definitely recommend checking them out!

Very nice young lady helped us when we picked up the parts we ordered.  Parts had come in quickly, missing some stickers so I couldn't give a 5 but overall a great place.

VERY expensive Parts and Service department. A shear pin for a snow blower was over $2!!!  Most of the staff appeared as if I was interrupting their day by asking a question. I only go there because I have a product that they service, otherwise I avoid them because of their demeanor and prices.

Had a expensive fireplace extraordinaire installed by them years ago recently I had it cleaned by a reputable chimney sweep who told me that the installation wasn't very good on the chimney liner there was gaps where the chimney liner hooked to the top of the unit that were filled with fireplace cement which has now falliin out had to cut a hole in my wall to get to the unit when I brought up this issue to the store with pictures to back it up wasn't given very much help and was just told well that's the way it is it needs to be resealed while talking to the chimney sweep he told me he found another one of their units installed the same way with the same problem fortunately I caught this before I burned my house down I don't care how long ago the unit was installed by looking at the pictures you can tell it was a hack job now it's going to cost me more money to have it fixed do your homework before you buy a stove from this company I've spent a lot of money with them over the years I'm very disappointed in their lack of response to this issue.

In hopes of finding a peace for my fireplace. Ferguson offered to order one leading to me to believe they understood what I needed. After showing up three weeks after they took my money I expected to be canceling an existing order. They produce the part from behind the counter to my surprise and I found that it would not work due to it was the complete wrong interior size pipe. When I requested to return this to them without actually having ever taken it from the store they charged me a 20% restocking fee for their mistake. $50+ This is my second experience with them were I have left deeply dissatisfied. Never again get my business!!

We are very sorry for your frustrations.  It can be challenging to find correct components for fireplaces. We have many years of experience that we try to leverage to help our customer. Our records show that we offered to order a rain cap to address your needs as described. Our policy is to have special orders paid for upon ordering. We ordered part on 8/24 and received on  8/28 We called and left a message on voice mail on 8/28 at number provided to us. On 9/21 a gentleman came into the store and requested a refund and indicated he no longer needed the rain cap.  We confirmed that the number we used to leave the voice mail was correct, but the gentleman said he did not receive the message. We reminded him of the policy, clearly stated on your payment receipt that cancelation of orders may result in restock fee. We refunded the deposit less the restock fee.

We are truly sorry we have disappointed you in this matter. It would seem that we failed to effectively communicate. We remain under the belief however that the part we did order for you was appropriate to your needs as described. The gentleman indicated that, he had come up with a fix, and did no longer needed the cap. We hope you will confirm that your chimney is in proper working order as we enter the wood burning season.  We remain available to assist you, but understand regrettably that we may have failed to earn any future business with you.

Best place for your power equipment needs. Staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. I believe they have the best selection of Sthil power equipment in Traverse City.

I brought my Stihl chainsaw in for a mechanical overhaul. They did a superb job in fixing the chainsaw. My concerns is their sales staff. I had one salesperson tell me, they were behind one week and I gave them an extra 4 days. I went in the store to find out what the status was on my chainsaw, and another salesperson told me it was going to take an extra two weeks to get my chainsaw. So, I was prepared to wait another two weeks, until the following week, when they called me to let me know that the chainsaw was ready to go! When they processed my chainsaw with a numbered tag that they would follow in sequence as the equipment comes in, instead of preferred customers! I'm happy with my chainsaw and I'm willing to give them another chance!

Thank you for your input.  Every piece of equipment we work on has unique requirements and it is often difficult to determine the length of time required to complete all repairs/maintenance.  We are glad we were able to complete sooner than anticipated.

I purchased a MSA 200 C chainsaw from them online on the evening of Thursday July 2nd. The following Friday morning, Tim called and left a voice mail telling me that the store was closed that day however he had my saw with him and would deliver it to me if I wished. That was above and beyond, Thank You Tim!

This was my first time visiting this store and WOW very awesome place to deal with and very respectful. I have a Stihl dealer a couple minutes from my house that I don't care to go to, next time I need a Stihl product or repair I will be going to Ferguson's.
