  This is the absolute best place I've ever worked at in my life! They genuinely care about children and the staff! FCSA provides a great service for adolescent children and family's that find themselves in difficult times. I would recommend anyone needing help with behavioral health for their children to contact Family Centered Services of Alaska.

  They unsafe company and let kids and employees work in unsafe environment in the Wasilla office and they false file records on incident when kids or employees get hurt. when you don’t want to work in unsafe environment they fire you. I called labor department ocs and medicade

  I worked at FCSA in 2 positions. The first was for about a year and I was a Case Manager over 2 of the foster homes in the community and to several kids on my caseload. I enjoyed the position and the team that I worked with. The only con was the pay for me…I feel that for someone with a 4 year degree and the cost of living in Alaska, it should be higher than what it was but that is just my opinion. My boss was very helpful in times where I needed to make slight changes in my schedule and the team of ladies that I worked with were always super helpful to me as the newbie. The only reason I left this position was to become a therapeutic foster parent myself with FCSA. In this new position as a foster parent I can say that I have felt supported from FCSA on all ends. I love how they provide respite for foster parents as needed and how they provide therapy to the children weekly. I also like how they are given goals to be able to work on and how Pre-Covid they had the BHAs take them out into the community to work on these goals. They also have quarterly meetings to update progress and come together as a team to see the next steps for each child and how to move forward. I also love the precautions they took during COVID to protect employees, kids and families. I really don’t have any complaints and have been with them (in both positions) since 2018. There are lots of training opportunities and supports available 24/7. So if there ever is any after hours emergency, you know exactly who to refer to.
