  I would not recommend Emerald Lawns at all. A service manager came to my home yesterday and told me I need to mow. Nevermind the very healthy and vibrant weeds all throughout my yard that I paid for them to eliminate….nope. I’m told I need to mow my lawn. Unbelievable. I had a billing error (I paid via credit card, they said I didn’t) on my very first visit, they left my back gate open after service visits on 2 different occasions, and now when I asked them to return to actually treat the weeds that are taking over my lawn they are seriously telling me to mow the yard. I lost it with that service manager. Unreliable, untrustworthy, unsatisfactory and unbelievable are the only words I can think of to describe their approach to lawn care.

  Eric, I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our services and the recommendations given by our manager. Our best results are seen when we work together with our customers and mowing recommendations are given often when that is seen as a concern, mature weeds are much more difficult to control and lawns not mown often are not as healthy. We offer complimentary follow ups between services to address issues that may come up. We expect our managers and technicians to treat our customers with respect and be solution based when addressing customer concerns. We expect our customers to communicate with us with that same respect and are okay with loosing a customer who does not hold that share that same sentiment.   I have used Emerald Lawns a few times with good results but this time was different. The top dressing applied was not the usual fine material, but mostly looked like mulch. I tried to work it into the grass but there was so much that was so large left over. I have since watered several times, had a few rains, mowed it 3x with bagger and still hurts your feet to walk on. I will do it myself next time with the proper material. I was promptly contacted by the company and offered to come look at it and see what they could do to make it right. At this point the work has been done. I give them another star for customer service.

  A few of our neighbors were using Emerald Lawn the summer our neighborhood got taken over by weeds. It was terrible. My husband said he had lost the battle of being able to manage the weeds by himself. Anyway, he got to talking to some of the neighbors whose yards were improving, and they were all using Emerald. I don't know why there was such an infestation of weeds two summers ago in my neighborhood, but it doesn't matter because they are gone now! The lawn has been restored to it's luciousness, thanks to Emerald Lawn Care! They have top notch customer service and every lawn care specialist is pleasant and polite. That goes a long way. Whenever we think we need a little more help before the next spray, they come and take care of us. We tell everyone about them.
