  Update: After my initial review the business owner made a strong effort to resolve my complaint. I am impressed with his effort, and after some more information from his perspective, I have changed my rating to 4 stars. Due to his commitment to customer satisfaction, I would recommend his services. This guy WAY overcharges. Everything else was OK, but nothing special. He did come on short notice. If you want to pay twice what you should, then call them. Otherwise, call someone else. And, by the way, I'm by no means a cheap person and I'm a generous tipper.I understand that these are tough times and I wouldn't have been at all surprised if it was a little more than I normally pay. I was certainly not prepared for, no exaggeration, 2 times what any other landscaper ever has (and I've used several over the last few years).

  Sorry you feel that way Nathan. When I spoke to a younger girl on the phone before hand (I assume calling on your behalf) I gave her clear parameters of where the price might fall...and it did fall within that range, which she admitted to at the property, also expressing that it was ‘her bad’ that there perhaps was miscommunication between the two of you. On top of that, she called on Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend, wondering when the soonest arrival time could be. I happily arranged my schedule to be there that night, arriving at 7:30pm. I take pride in trying to accommodate customers as promptly as possible, and feel that sets me apart from some of these other companies. This was on May 29, and the girl said that the lawn had yet to be mowed all season. It was very overgrown. So yes, short notice- same-day service...on top of a challenging lawn like that...always warrants a significantly higher price...again, which I clearly expressed to the girl that called. Sorry about your experience, and happy to mow again free of charge in hopes to help fix this.

  I've just started using East Concord Grass Roots mowing service. After calling for info I found their price was the most reasonable in the area. The owner (James) was friendly and helpful in setting up a time to come out to my property (the next day). I would definitely recommend them to anyone else.
