ET&W recently completed a significant refresh of our plantings, landscaping and outdoor patio.  Mary Dresser created the design and was very involved throughout the process.  She is a true professional.  The rest of the ET&W team was top-notch.  Art and Mark did a great job communicating with us on the project and making adjustments where necessary.  We recommend ET&W without reservation.  We love our new space and look forward to using them again!

Paul and his team were a pleasure to work with. They took our extensive vision and turned it into a reality far beyond our expectations. The pondless waterfall is the highlight of our backyard and the wildlife it attracts is a delight to watch. We have had many ask us about it. They worked with us on pricing on our sod and prepared a spot for our shed that complements our home renovation perfectly. They regraded our property for better water drainage, gave the perimeter of our house and backyard a fresh new look with plantings, trees and shrubs better suited to our woods environment and re-sodded our backyard with high quality sod. They set aside a small fenced area for our vegetable/herb garden and resolved an issue we were having with the deer by strategically placing beautiful rocks and river stones and planting pachysandra throughout to give it a more natural appearance. They even placed some complimentary pavers to provide us better access between our back patio and side porch. We would highly recommend Paul and his team if you are looking for a high quality and meticulously detailed landscape design with implementation. They delivered the “wow” effect we were looking for.

We had a wonderful experience working with Earth, Turf, and Wood. They were professional, good at communicating, and delivered an excellent product as promised.  Mary's design expertise was top notch and Jeremy did an excellent job running the project and communicating with us through the process.  We would definitely recommend working with this company.

We only had one awkward spot on our property for a pool. We called Mary Dresser with Earth, Wood snd Turf because she had done outstanding landscape design for us before. She designed and facilitated an amazing pool area for our property . The quality and professionalism with which E W T completed the project was outstanding! Our pool area looks  like it was always a part of our house and property. Everyone who sees it  compliments it so highly and asks, of course,  who did it.
We give EWT all the credit and high recommendations!

Had Mary out to provide a quote to redo a small flagstone patio with fire pit into paver patio with a fire pit instead.   After a half hour of showing her what we had and her showing us color options in a book, she asked us what our budget was.  Upon discussing it, she literally choked and laughed at us.  Her rough rough estimate was 4 times higher than than other estimates we had received in the past.   We had even paid her $100 to come out and look things over.

While I’m sure they do incredible work, make sure you look over their website first.   One of the pictures shows a Lamborghini parked in front of the home, this is the caliber of client they are looking for.  Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it would have been a nice FYI over the phone that they are looking for upscale jobs and priced accordingly.   I’m sure the $100 I paid her wasn’t worth her time, so it’s confusing why she wasn’t more up front in the first place.  She even mentioned that she doesn’t like to discuss budget over the phone so people don’t get offended, but I’m not sure how laughing is the better alternative.

Overall I don’t care about the wasted $100, but it really sucks to have someone come to your home and laugh at you.

My sincere apologies for the impression you were left with after our on-site consultation.  Relationship building, trust, honesty, and professionalism are qualities that are extremely important to me.  We work with many clients who have smaller projects than yours. Every client, no matter what the size of their project, is important to all of us and is respected equally.

This is my second experience with ET&W, again very favorable. They are not the cheapest but they are likely one of the best and that was what I was looking for. I was only doing a long (curvy) walkway in pavers but we got good advice and good work. Onsite crew was personable and careful; not sure that is a common trait. Would use them again.

This is an outstanding group of professionals. I was very impressed by Mary's attention to detail, thorough analysis and design, and upfront explanation of materials and pricing. The crew's execution of the project was flawless. I highly recommend Earth, Turf, & Wood, Inc. for any outdoor project.

The entire process from design through installation was excellent.  The project was completed exactly as designed, on schedule and with great communications throughout.  The designer was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with; the installers were great to work with and a pleasure to have at our site each day and the follow-up by the management team was outstanding.  We would absolutely recommend Earth, Turf & Wood to anyone seeking truly professional landscaping services.

Interesting business concept. I filled out the website request to discuss my project with project manager, Paul. I couldn’t make the first scheduled time, so we rescheduled for later in the day. When the new scheduled time arrived, no call and no follow up in the days after.  I decided to give them another chance, so I went back to the website and set up a new time.

I discussed my project with Paul, but not with much detail. In fact, we didn’t even discuss a hardscape that I was interested in having installed. Next, Paul offered me the opportunity to come to his office with photos of my property and discuss my project and see their portfolio (I had already seen enough online or I wouldn’t have contacted you in the first place).

The other option was to pay $100 for an on-site consultation. I informed Paul that I had Tomlinson Bomberger to my house with no fee, and he delivered some flawed reasoning on how they can provide better service when customers pay the $100 fee. Of course, you can... Instead of driving 5 miles to my house to give me a quote, you lost a potential job.  Good luck with customer acquisition. Why should customers take a risk for you to come out? I guess I’ll never know if you would have been able to provide a competitive quote. My money goes else where.
