Super good folks.  I buy my power equipment from here, and they take care of me.
They tell me when I dont need, and suggest what I need to save money.

Was a decent place in the past for repairs etc but is no longer. All my Husqvarna goes to Robertsdale now. Farther for me but worth it.

Did business there for several years with Don. Happy with service, products, etc. Then, was charged almost 300.00 for minor repair on Husqvarna riding mower without explanation.  Couldn't get any response from owner. Hope they enjoyed it, it's been almost 20 years and I have on many occasions advised people to avoid this business.

An awesome place for Sales and Service. Always friendly and very helpful. Purchased everything from chainsaw, lawnmower and misc. items. Best and fastest service in town. Lawnmower wouldn't start. Picked up at my house within 24 hrs and running within the week.

I took my Husqvana brush cutter to Dutchman with a very simple problem. I  told him it was running rough,  but I thought the only thing I needed was new gas lines and a new pull starter. I  agreed to the 54 dollar investigation fee, and he said it would be a couple weeks.
After almost 3 weeks, I  called and they told me, as much as it was going to cost to fix,  I  could just get a new one...and, if I didn't want to pay the 54 dollars, I could just give them the machine for parts...
I decided to go pick it up,  pay the money and take it home...They had completely disassembled the engine which I expected, but, taking the carburetor all apart didn't make any sense to me...Although I am not mechanically inclined, I decided to try and fix it myself. I ordered in about 40 dollars worth of parts from Amazon including a new carburetor to replace the one they took apart, a new pull handle, and of course, the new gas lines...With the help of YouTube,  I had that thing put back together and running in a little over an hour....
Wouldn't you think a Husqvarna dealer could have done the same thing?
Shame on you Dutchman!!

All handheld equipment is subject to a $55 minimum diagnostic fee, regardless of whether or not the customer decides to go forward with the suggested repairs, to pay our mechanics for their time. We have a team of three taking on dozens of units in the order they arrive, so that is why our wait times are two weeks minimum.

Your equipment was disassembled, and our diagnosis was that these items needed replacement for optimal equipment function: carburetor, fuel line, tank grommets, fuel filter, air filter, primer bulb, spark plug, and starter repair. Upon diagnosis, we always call our customers with an estimate based upon genuine OEM parts and labor costs. On occasions such as this one, the equipment is an older model, and the costs of parts and labor may begin to match or exceed the unit’s value, so we offer a new unit as an alternate solution to consider.

You chose not to go forward with either option, which is perfectly fine! However, the diagnostic fee still applied. We are glad to hear you could fix your equipment on your own and apologize if there was any misunderstanding.
