I'll never hire this guy again, no matter how much I like to support small businesses. Not worth the money I spent. I pointed out that he killed my lavender and he took zero accountability - saying he mistook it for a weed  - this would've made more sense if there weren't a bunch of weeds that he left untouched. When i asked him not to blow the leaves in my neighbors yard, I guess he decided not to blow them at all (?) Now i have to go out and rake. I don't think he takes much pride in the quality of his work of satisfaction of his customers. very disappointed

I am well pleased with this company's service.  Mr. Doug comes every week during the summer to make my yard look like it comes from a magazine ad.  I love coming home seeing the green lush carpeted looking grass.  It feels amazing when you walk on it with your bare feet.  During winter he comes to winterize.  Last winter I was the only person with green grass during the winter.   I recommend him to anyone.

I would give this company a zero if I could. He sodded our front yard, and within a couple of weeks it turned brown. Looks like he put two different type grasses down. The sod was infested with weeds. Definitely
Would not use this company again. Tried to post review when he completed work last year, but it would not go through.

Preparing to leave for deployment, I needed to find someone to take care of my lawn while I was gone. Taking pride in my lawn, Doug reassured me that he “had been doing this a long time” and “your yard is easy.” So we agreed that he would come out the beginning of the week to mow, edge, and weed out all of my flower beds. At the time I felt confident that my lawn would be taken care of like I left it and left that week for my deployment.
I was wrong. Three days after he mowed, the individual that was watching my home told me about my lawn and sent the first pictures of what had been done. Half my lawn was brown up front, with multiple brown areas in the back, and you could see that it had been mowed down to the dirt. Other areas you could see were completely uneven and there were tire marks all over my lawn. Some marks looking so bad, that it looked as if a car had driven on my lawn while turning its tires at the same time, leaving the grass flat and twisted. The driveway had been edged but not one weed in my beds had been touched. Yet with all this, I was left a bill for “Lawn maintains\Weed Control.” Very upset about this I called Doug the following Monday and asked, “Sir, I’d like to know what happened to my lawn last week?” Doug quickly stated that he had never had to raise his mower deck that high and that my lawn had “humps.” This immediately told me he knew what he had done. I then asked about the tire marks and received the response, “I have tires on my mower!” I have tires on my lawnmower too, but they never left anything close to what his mower had done. At this point aggravated, and can tell he knew the day he did this, but didn’t contact me when it happened, yet still fully billed me, and was now blaming it all on my lawn, Doug abruptly brought the call to an end. “I’m currently under a truck repairing it and don’t have time for this. If you don’t want to pay for this then don’t.” I stated ok, but believe he had already hung up. Then surprisingly two minutes later Doug sent me a text message stating, “If you want something for free, all you have to do is ask.” I did not respond back.
Eleven days later, thinking I would just be done with this, and that my lawn would in time grow back, I received new pictures of my lawn. In the pictures, you can see in my front lawn that it’s still very brown, with the tire marks still there, as well as other grass that wasn’t ruined, growing like usual. This area has no “humps”, so with the other grass growing you can clearly see where he gouged my lawn with his mower. On the other side of my driveway the grass wasn’t gouged, just cut uneven, and is growing back like normal. Pictures of my back lawn show multiple brown areas, but also areas that are still just dirt. After eleven days of watering every day and no change in these brown areas, I then felt I needed to respond to Doug’s text. I let him know that I would be taking him to small claims court to pay for the re-sodding of my lawn in these destroyed areas and attached the current pictures. Doug’s response, in a customer service aspect, is even more appalling then his responses the week prior. He replies by saying “You can do whatever you feel like… You’re not the first uneducated person I have dealt with… and to prove that cutting the grass caused that then you’ll be a f****** genius. Have fun. …you don’t seem to understand that that’s a problem with whatever fertilizer or whatever you been using… cutting grass does not cause that.” When asked, “Why would I talk to you on the phone, nervous about hiring you, and then burn my own lawn?” I received no response. My lawn had not been fertilized in over a month, and without being home, how could I put anything on my lawn?  And why isn’t the entire lawn brown if I had put something on it?

Doug has been very dependable and does a fantastic job.  I highly recommend him!
