  I've used Doug's for a few years for lawn care. We were happy with the results, and the gentleman who always came out to apply the fertilizer was very nice and provided top notch service I unfortunately had to cancel service based on the receptionist. Feel free to email me or call me if you swap her out for someone who doesn't hate her customers, It is sad that I have to stop supporting a local business and start using a big company based on a single inept employee, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Sometimes the entry level, front facing employees set the tone for the entire company :(

  We have used Doug's tree service for years. Our crabapples, and blue spruce tree are in top condition, and looking healthy.

  I've used Doug's for the past three seasons on my brand new yard on our new construction home with a sprinkler system. The first season (two years ago) they badly burnt one spot of our yard by using too much fertilizer. They happily took responsibility and replaced the sod. This year the first application instantly burnt up our front lawn. So I called them, reported the chemical burn, and agreed with THEIR RECOMMENDATION to keep an eye on the lawn and report back if it did not remedy itself. It got worse, so I called. The receptionist said she would have someone come out, then changed her mind and said they would no longer service us, did not take responsibility for burning our lawn (I had the best lawn in our subdivision). She stopped service (her doing) and refunded this seasons payments. BUT NEVER OFFERED TO FIX MY LAWN. They made fungus claims without coming to look then we checked the lawn for the mentioned fungi, NO FUNGUS. Unprofessional. Condesending. Spread fertilizer all over our patio and driveway. Super obvious lines and turn around marks where the fertilizer pooled and killed our lawn. I never quit them. I honestly expected them to replace a few dollars of sod and continue to enjoy a reasonable customer who pays on time??? I never yelled, but I got talked at.
