David's tree service is good at cutting down trees. But I have been waiting almost 4 months to get the stump grind down. I had the tree removed on Jan., 3, 2020 but as of today it is March 30,2020. Been waiting for almost 4 months. Was told that the stump would be grind down in 2 weeks, then I called again and was told it would be 2 or 3 weeks because was waiting so the crew would have a lot of tree stumps to grind. HOPE THEY SHOW UP. Ran over the LARGE STUMP by my driveway and could have damage my car. David's tree service showed up 4/8/2020 and grained the tree stump down but did not finish. Came back after calling him many times on 4/9/2020. Was told that they would come on 4/10/2020 and remove the Saw Dust and Debris at 8:30am to 9pm, NO SHOW. I called in the afternoon asking when they are going to show up. SOMEONE ANSWERED THE PHONE BUT HUNG UP THE PHONE. I CALLED AGAIN AND DAVID'S MAMA ANSWERED THE PHONE, SHE WAS UPSET, SHE GOT REAL ANGRY AT ME AND TOLD ME THAT THE TRAILER BROKE DOWN AND THAT DAVID HAS CANCER AND SHE IS 79 YEARS OLD. There is a lot more that she said to me that I am not going to post. She said that they could come on Saturday. Well it is Saturday. 4/11/2020 and IT IS RAINING. DAVID'S TREE SERVICE IS UNRELIABLE AND DOES NOT KEEP HIS WORD FOR SERVICE and THE CUSTOMER(S) HAS TO KEEP CALLING IF ANYTHING IS FINISHED. DAVID'S TREE SERVICE HAS LOST A CUSTOMER(S) HERE IN PARSONS, KANSAS. David's Tree Service is out of Saint Paul, Kansas. Also found out yesterday, 4/10/2020 that he did bad service to one of our neighbors.

Was hesitant to use this business because of the bad reviews but decided to give them a chance since there's not exactly an abundance of tree services in Chanute. We scheduled a time to get our project checked out and get a quote but they were a no show. I texted to ask if he was still coming and he said no and needed to reschedule for another day. I really wish they could have just told us. I will say he was quick to respond in our communications but I shouldn't have to reach out wondering where the heck people are. We are paying customers moving our schedule around for them and prioritizing communication. It's too bad they can't pay even potential customers the same respect. We haven't even used them yet but are not going to go there. It's not hard to send a quick text or call. Come on guys.

Owner came over gave us a decent price, but I've called at least 6x with no return calls, spoke with someone the r e 2x still never called back so moving on to someone else
