  **this is my reply to the previous review below* It is rather funny how we have come to this. Mr. Crews did call last week on Thursday to find out if our lawn mower was ready because YOUR BUSINESS failed to call us and let us know that YOU were done working on our lawn mower, that we dropped off two weeks prior. We were told it would take about a week and we understood that because of how times are now. At no point did we EVER receive a phone call from your business. He did come the following week which was TODAY Monday June 7, 2020 after calling on Thursday June 3, 2020 of last week and he asked could he pick it up Monday and was told that would be fine. So please stop trying to portray it was our fault that YOUR BUSINESS failed to do their job. You do not see where the we were told a charge of $375 because when the total was told it was said by mouth. When WE declined to pay for the “holding fee” a receipt was made for $188. Once again another price from where we were quoted the first time when we made the original call of $150. No one asked you to clean the fuel tank but you chose to do so and charged the labor for it. Then decide to inform us, you charged an extra half hour because we made a review on Google. Another example of YOUR BUSINESS being sleazy as I said in the previous review. But either way you won’t receive our business again. Thank you for fixing our lawn mower you did a WONDERFUL job but you business and customer service sucks and I advise EVERYONE to BE AWARE of this establishment. In the photos is our receipt that shows you did not notify us you did any fuel tank work, just charged for labor. THINK TWICE BEFORE GETTING YOUR LAWN MOWER REPAIRED HERE!! Not because the work is bad but because they are sleazy business folks. We recently had our lawn mower worked on here and chose to call before we came, just to check pricing. The guy on the phone quoted us for about $150 for the battery, belt and labor included. So we drove the 40 minutes to drop our lawn mower off. He told us it would be about a week and they would give us a call. Two and half weeks go by and we still had not received a phone call (had to pay someone else to cut our lawn.) So we decided to call and see what was up with our lawn mower. When WE CALLED they notified us that our lawn mower was completed. Once we arrived the lady told us our total was $375. She said that was with the work done labor and a holding fee. We let them know we were not paying the holding fee because WE had to call them to get our lawn mower because THEY failed to notify us it was ready. Then she tells us the price was now $188.40 after removing the holding fee. We asked why did the price change from what was quoted and she tells us because they raised their prices due to materials going up. We asked why we were not told about the price raise prior to the work. She then informed us that they had not informed everyone who’s equipment they already had (so if you have your equipment there, just know you will have to pay at least an extra $30.) We paid the ridiculous amount and left. Don’t be fooled. TAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT SOMEWHERE ELSE

  We apologize that you feel this way. I've checked and I do not see anywhere where you were quoted $375. When the mower was dropped off, we were told it needed a battery and belt. After checking the mower over, we noticed the fuel tank contained a lot of trash so we went ahead and cleaned the fuel tank and fuel system. We only charged half an hour of labor ($32.50) for doing this, which is where the additional cost come from. I'm not sure about any "holding fee" as we have never charged any fees other than parts and labor. As far as the time frame goes, we are busy as this is the busy season and informed you it could be longer. Mr. Crews called in last week inquiring about the status of the mower and we told him it was ready to be picked up and he waited an additional week to pick it up. We ensure any piece of equipment that comes in for service is in optimal operating condition when it leaves, even if it is something we aren't informed of when it is dropped off and that is why we cleaned the fuel system.

  Todd runs a great business! The service is prompt and they are always friendly. I took my riding mower because it wouldn't crank and it was making a loud, awful noise when turning the ignition key. Todd tried it before I even unloaded the mower. He told me the battery was dead. My battery was replaced promptly while the mower was still strapped down on the trailer. I highly recommend Country Gardens!
