We were looking for a good lawn service and called Doug at Canter’s. He came out, prepared us an estimate and explained exactly what they would be doing. They were very professional and did everything to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company, they take pride in their work.

Punctual, professional & friendly! I have stuck with Canters Classic for 6+ years and I have only had great experiences. They really know their stuff. They might even fool you into thinking it's not their job but their hobby! They pay attention to our wants & make great suggestions. Our lawn is lovely & we couldn't be happier!

I did not have a good experience with this company. I asked for a quote to plant trees. I was very specific in what I wanted and the owner quoted me a per tree cost for installation of 19 trees. I did not get a written quote which was a mistake. The job was scheduled and on the day no one showed. I call several hours later and was told they would have to reschedule. This happened again and each time I had to call as opposed to being called and when they finally did show they only worked for a half a day. One of the workers told me they had to go to a more important client to finish a job. All trees were planted in small holes, not the 24" holes I requested. No amended soil was added per my request. No stakes were used to stabilized the trees per my request. When the bill arrived the cost per tree was what was quoted but mulch and peat moss were added in addition to what was originally quoted. I will not contract for any more work from this company.

Hi Megan, I'm very sorry you feel it was a bad experience. We did send out a quote, not sure why you did not receive it, when you accepted the quote we assumed you had it. We will reverse the mulch and peat moss charges, since you were unclear of the charges. As discussed during the quote, we were really busy about 3-4 weeks out and would schedule your job in as soon as we can. So we fit you in on a Saturday and due to the hard clay and poison ivy that the crew was digging in, we had to come back another day to complete the job. As far as the employee comments, every customer is very important and if anyone in the crew did make any comment like that, it was out of line. We did have some temporary staff help, but no one in the crew heard anyone say that. Good luck and hope your trees do well and again deepest apologies that you were unhappy.
