  The team at this business is top notch. They’ve gone out the their way to accommodate this homeowner on several projects and tight access places (small and big jobs from one truckload to 20 loads). Every one of the drivers are down to earth and great people that work with you to get it done. All this and their prices are fair. Great Americans! Thank you.

  My experience with Brownsferry Mercantile was such that I wanted to inform everyone to find somewhere else to purchase your landscaping materials, especially if you are purchasing top soil. While the attached pictures will tell the story I should add that I called and complained to Angie. Sent her the pictures, explained the 4th pic with the items is from one wheelbarrow load...4 rocks, some twine, a piece of glass, bottom of a tennis shoe, and a cotter pin. As to the soil, she did not apologize for sending red clay fill dirt with with what I estimate to be 50% clods instead of top soil, just tried ending the call multiple times. Had hoped the owner or manager would call to apologize or offer some sort of olive branch, but it has now been two weeks...

  I was disgusted. I am not one to even write a review typically however, I started talking to them around the end of 2021 right at new years. I call and leave a message I never get a call back. I call and speak to the very RUDE Ladies yes (More than 1) in the office and they tell me they will contact me next week. I have not received the first call on there call promises. They screen your calls and save your phone number as well bc a few times i have called on my cell phone they would not answer. I use another phone line and they pick right up. None of that really matters though. I just pray they get better people in the office. I pray for this company and their rudeness. So I had enough at this point I spoke with one of the ladies last week. She informed me one of her workers was out with Covid. I completely understand but was told I would receive a call back on Tuesday Feb 8th and I did not receive the call. At this point I have really had enough. So this morning I call and no one answers so i continuously call to get someone on the line. No one ever picks up So I left a message telling them how unhappy I am with there customer service and that I will not be using their services. Well low and behold I get a nasty phone call back. Started out that they finally had me on the schedule. I declined the services told them I would find somewhere else. Then I just told the lady that I understood the world was in a pandemic but when someone tells you they will call you back and they do not that not reliable service. Then I was told. well WE DONT WORK WITH LIARS ANYWAY and was hung up on. This is very unprofessional and I will grade my own driveway with a rake and a shovel before I let some very RUDE and UnProfessional company touch my yard. May God continue to bless this company but most of all I pray he replaces the very rude from it. UPDATE::::: So the manager Mr. Sowell contacted me and let me know how sorry he was that i had been through all this trouble. He made it right with my family. We have been blessed with a beautiful driveway. He certainly made things right on the end. I would recommend this company after all. I want to let Mr. Sowell know just how much we appreciate him getting back with us and making things right. I changed the rating from a 1 to a 4.
