  I enjoy shopping at Brown's in part because they have a huge selection of hard to find inventory, but the reason I return time and time again is the friendly, hometown service from Mark and the rest of the staff. Recently I rented a small excavator with the understanding I had to be back with it by morning because another customer had it reserved already. Well, as things tend to, something went wrong and was unable to get it returned in time for the next renter, costing several hundred in lost rental fees. I went in the next morning when they opened fully prepared to take responsibility and compensate them for the lost business I'd cost them. Mark, after listening to my apology and explanation for the late return, left me speechless by saying "I GUESS WE CAN LET THIS SLIDE THIS TIME. NEXT TIME GET IT BACK IN TIME PLEASE." I was lucky to utter a thank you and a handshake I was so shocked. After all, this was no small mistake. I'd lost them hundreds of dollars. And he just chalked up to putting people over profit. That's the decency you find in hometown business rather than national stores, and the reason I'll keep going back. You're a stand up guy Mark. Thanks again

  Had the parts I needed, even held them there till i got back in town, well worth the 50 mile drive ! Also everybody was very friendly
