  We commisioned a large (read $$$) project at our ranch with Brasher based on a landscaping plan done by another professional organization. The crew left the site clean after work. The lead architect was very nice and professional. A dozen of the bushes we planted died or were in poor condition about 4 months after planting. BTW, we watered the plants once per week except for a two week period we were away but during this period, the area received good rain. Upon notification, the lead architech came out to look things over and commented that the bushes were not planted deep enough and confirmed that three were completely dead. He indicated that the crew would be out to make it right including placing the still live bushes deeper. The crew came out but then left having done nothing (we suspect that they actually found more dead plants). The big boss then put up a fuss and more or less refused additional service despite the defects in workmanship on the actual planting. We ended our relationship. If you work with this group, I would be very specific about workmanship requirements. Since I will be asked in the future about our landscaping, I am going to provide the same balanced and factual perspective on Brasher.

  My husband and I contacted this company to install a sprinkler system at our home. They canceled both of the first two appointments we had to provide us with an estimate (one was for funeral and was understandable). After they came out to measure for the estimate, we never heard from them again. My husband even contacted them to verify that they had his correct email address. It's sad when business people in the Brownwood area treat customers like this.
