We are just about at the 1 year mark from when Jeff, Chad, John and the rest of Blue Tree team completed our family pool project. We are 100% satisfied and would recommend them to anyone looking to get a pool. From start to finish, Jeff, Chad and John were great to work with, answering all our questions and walking us through the entire process step by step. Their attention to detail and pride in their work from everyone on site was refreshing and great to see. They came through for us on multiple occasions and ensured that we were 100% happy. They completed our pool timely and most importantly they completed it right. We had a tremendous experience working with them. Thanks BTL, we love our pool Mo and Marissa

Blue Tree did miscellaneous work for us - clean up, install pavers, plant trees, fix drainage, mulch etc. The yard has never looked better. I have had numerous homes in many locations and have done a lot of yard work myself, but I'd rate BlueTree at the top of all the landscapers we ever had. They were professional, neat, thorough and they did everything right. We are never using anyone else for any work going forward. They were highly recommended and justifiably so. Very happy. Our landscape looks perfect. Thanks,

READ AND CONSIDER BEFORE MAKING YOUR DECISION! Never have I ever been so frustrated that I felt like writing a review was necessary, until now. Just under two years into owning our pool put in by Blue Tree, and we are unable to use it. The poor grading work has our pool completely full of dirt. We made the owner aware of our concerns during construction while machines were on site, he assured us that we were good. Fast forward one year and upon opening the pool company was shocked. They had never seen so much dirt in a pool with a solid covering. We let Blue Tree know about the problem immediately. We were considering another landscape project so the owner came out. He looked and said it was not a grading issue. After multiple visits from the pool company (about 2-3 weeks of work) we got the pool clear. We went through the summer backwashing and wasting water way more than anyone should be. Fast forward another year, and three weeks into the pool opening and we have not been even close to clear. Dirt was even worse. I have spent almost a thousand dollars on opening chemicals still to have no pool to use. Owners came out looked after about a week long wait an email and a phone call. Said it was the water table of our backyard, and wanted to know how much responsibility financially we were going to accept for the problem?! The fix is pretty straight forward steer the water that wasn't addressed in the grade around the pool area. Dig a trench put in drainage pipe. Maybe one days worth of work, but five days after the visit I still have not heard any response other than a "working on it" See pictures this is a brand new pool. Literally only the second year, and this is what it looks like after every rain. Our equipment only has a three year warranty good chance after the excessive wear it has taken trying to keep up with this mess that we are going to be looking at a very early replacement of it. $$$ I will update this review once Blue Tree responds. Until than this is what a pool from Blue Tree looks 2 years in.

As we have discussed, Blue Tree Landscaping is not responsible for what you are experiencing. The finish grading that we performed is not the problem. There is no sitting water within BTL’s work area and there no water coming over the pool deck. Both would be associated with grading problems from the pool installation project. The conditions that you are experiencing is a not a problem that could have been predicted or priced into the project. We have generously offered to work to help you with your problem. If you feel that it’s necessary to involve your legal counsel and to take this problem to the public forum to resolve, then we are no longer willing to help you correct your problem. We do not appreciate being bullied or threatened into accepting responsibility for something that was not a problem caused by Blue Tree Landscaping’s work. We are always reasonable and willing to work with clients to resolve problems. Below is Blue Tree Landscaping’s summary of the facts. · Pool & final grade finished July 2017 · July 2017 to May 2, 2018 – No calls about grading or any other concerns · May 3, 2018 – Email about pool opening with dirty water · May 4, 2018 - Site visit by Blue Tree Landscaping did not find any grading issues that would cause this problem. · May 4, 2018 – Email to client that I did not find any grading related issues that would cause this problem and asked if there was a problem during the 2017 season. · May 4, 2018 – Client emailed back “No, we haven’t had an issue before and there isn’t mud or dirt on the pool deck.” · May 4, 2018 to May 7, 2019 - Almost one full year and no additional conversations or concerns were raised. · May 7, 2019 - Email from client about pool opening with dirty water · May 8, 2019 - Phone call from client about pool opening with dirty water · May 8, 2019 – Email to client that I will call him on 5/9 · May 8, 2019 - Email from client – yes looking to discuss and put a game plan together · May 9, 2019 – Called client to discuss and set up a meeting for 5/15/19 to review · May 15, 2019 – Owners of Blue Tree Landscaping meet with client to review o Client stated § No water was coming over the pool deck and there were no surface related problems. § That he was having problems during the entire summer of 2018 with excess water coming into the pool but no water was coming over the pool deck § They were pumping excess water out of the pool all summer § The problem they are having is a grading problem. Because of this, it’s BTL’s problem to fix and that we should have anticipated all problems and included this in the pool contract o BTL stated § Due to the record rain falls last year, everybody who owned a pool was pumping excess water out of their pool. § There is no grading problem as there is no sitting water within BTL’s work area nor is there any water coming over the pool deck - both of which would be associated with grading problems. § The ground in your yard is wet and spongy when walking on it leading us to believe there is a lot of water below ground – high water table. § In our opinion, the water is seeping in from the saturated soil on the property. The water is finding its way through the clean stone under the pool decking causing dirty water (not mud) to enter the pool (between the top of the pool beam and the bottom of the concrete decking) · A few factors could be causing this problem o High water table o Open field behind the property sloped towards client’s property o Poor drainage / grading well outside of disturbed areas created during pool construction o There are several areas of water pooling along the fence line on your neighbor’s property just behind the pool fence that was installed on your rear property line o The berm that was started on neighbor’s property and never property graded o Record rain fall over the last year and a half · BTL’s proposed solution to help elevate the ground water is to install EZ Flow drainage pipe and daylight
