Talked with owner, Ron McConnell, as we walked the yard in the spring. Told him I had had a problem with previous landscaper who mowed every week whether the lawn needed it or not. He said his guys would not do that and they didn't. I was quite pleased that they would ask on occasion if I thought they should mow or not. They did have a tendency to come when I was food shopping but I could usually tell when they had done the lawn. They were very efficient and courteous. I had asked that Blossom View fill the holes in the yard before mowing season started as I did not want any accidents. They did not achieve that goal. When I asked, Ron told me that he had other customers ahead of me but they did show up after about a month and filled most of the holes. Things went well until the big power outage storm. Ron charged me for a yard cleanup. I had not left my home during that time, I know I hadn't seen them, and I did know that I had cleaned the yard of debris myself days before the date he said they had performed the service. I also knew that I had taken the two large bags of yard debris I had gathered to the public drop spot and I had also taken the fallen branches to the street for town collection. Ron's response was that he believed the customer is always right so I wouldn't have to pay. I felt bad -- maybe they had come and done something (?) so I split the difference and paid him half of what he was asking. Fall came. Waited for the fall cleanup I had requested. I didn't follow up right away because I figured I would get same answer as in spring -- people ahead of me. Emailed him in November asking him to call before they came so I could be here to tell them what was needed. No word back. When I had to be away the second week of December, I emailed again asking if they could come the week of the 14th. Called him when I got back. The gist was oh well they had stopped with the yard work on Dec. 1st. Then, because a snow storm was due that week I asked about them coming for snow removal (as discussed last spring). He couldn't see his way to do that so I was on my own. The next week, I got his final bill for the last mow (October). .

Dealt directly with owner. Very professional. He also took the time to educate and explain the lawn installation and maintenance process. We will schedule to have the lawn refurbished once irrigation has been installed.
