I love Big R, mostly shopping in the gun dept. however since gun and ammo sales have risen dramatically, I feel they are price gouging on ammo. Other big name stores are not doing that. The rest of the store is great and as expected. The employees have been helpful and great 8/10 times about.

Edit lowered my review even further. These people are the abosolute word when it comes to customer service. Don't bother because you will only be bothering them when you want to get some.

Some of the staff are friendly others will run you down in the aisle. Every time I have dealt with the manager he acts like I am taking away from his day. And when I had to ask him to do a special order, the first time he just said no. It wasn't until I called the other store to get the item I wanted and they said they would gladly ship it, that I went back to him to do the special order, even then he was not interested in helping. I love Big R, but I only go here if there is nothing else. He'll ill order from Amazon if I can before setting foot in this Big R.

Well stocked, and clean. My biggest issue is a lot of there merchandise is not priced. Especially tack and welding equipment. I brought it up to a couple employees. Two of them told me it’s not there department and they are only responsible for there section. Girl at the register told me it’s to hard to price there products.
