They sell products they don't stand behind. In 2016 we bought a Toro 3225 zero turn mower  and it threw a rod through the side of the block last Summer (2021). We changed oil every season and was never low. Berend said the motor had a 3 year warranty. A little over a year out of warranty and the motor trashes out. Berend parts department wanted to sell me a motor for $1,300 and change an charge over $200 in shipping. They didn't discount the motor, just shipping. They don't stand behind what they sell. Will never spend another $ with them. I'd rather trade with a business that stands behind what they sell.

We are very sorry for your negative experience.  We strive to offer the best customer experience to all of our customers, however, in some cases that is not possible (or we fail to achieve that).  It is stated in your review that the mower was purchased in 2016 and had a 3 year warranty, meaning that this unit is 3 years out of warranty. Also, we reviewed our service records and this unit has never been in to our service department.  With the ever increasing pricing and freight charges from our manufacturers we do everything we can to keep cost as low as possible for our customers. I have bought 2 stihl trimmers from them the first a fs240r for heavy farm use. Yesterday my old echo 265t died. I needed a new lighter trimmer. Decided to buy a kombi unit a km131r so far both tools were properly setup, and tested. I was able to get what I needed in hurry with friendly staff. I will definitely consider more business in the future with them.

We have purchased most of our commercial equipment from them and the customer service is second to none, they have gone above and beyond for us many times. Just a few days ago in the middle of a job the clutch and bearing on our big echo chainsaw broke, we took it to them, they didn’t have the parts on hand so they took them off of a new chainsaw they had in stock just to get us running again. One of the many reasons we’ll never go anywhere else.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a part for my Echo weed eater and they not only had the part I needed, they had an upgradable part that made loading my trimmer line much easier and it was about the same price or cheaper than what I would have been able to get it on Amazon. They installed the new part and even showed me how to load the line into it just to make sure that I didn't have any issues when I got home. Have done business here in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

They came a picked up my JD lawn tractor that wouldn't start. They called 5 days later, said it needed the coil replaced. $70 for the coil. Said they would install the new coil, sharpen blades, service the whole thing, new air filters, change oil and filter, new fuel filter, new plugs, and flush the coolant and fuel systems and deliver it back to my house. Turnkey job for $250. I said do it. 3 says later I called back to check their progress. He then, and only then informed me they are 2 to 3 weeks behind in their maintenance shop. I obviously couldn't wait that long to mow my 1 acre. I went and picked it up. They gave me the coil, 3 filters, 2 plugs and charged me $172. As we were loading it I noticed the belt guards were off on the mower deck along with both belts. I got it home where me and my 4 yr old son spent "2 hrs" completing all above work and it runs fine. Thought they charged me a tad too much but more disappointed they never informed me of them being weeks behind and they had it for 8 days. They should have informed me of the wait before they ever came to pick it up. Unfortunately I won't return.

Cody and Jay have been brilliant for the last 6 years we've been a customer. My Toro ZTR, Stihl chainsaws and weed eaters are great quality. Have all parts and servicing items when I need them!

I've been doing business with these guys for about 4 years now, and have never been disappointed. This is where I bought my Toro zero turn mower. Have never regretted my decision to do business with Berend Brothers rather than a big box store. Everyone needs to go by and check out their new robotic lawn mower by Stihl, it's pretty amazing.
