  I am not a customer, but I’ve been quite impressed with Backes Landscaping. My neighbors are currently having their landscaping done by Michael and his crew and because my office window faces their backyard, I’ve been witnessing the quality of their work. Each day, the crew arrives within a few minutes of each other and get right to work. They operate seamlessly, each doing their individual tasks and coming together when needed to help one another. I’ve yet to see any of them be idle. What has also been remarkable is the clean up at the end of each day. Literally, if I hadn’t seen them working, I wouldn’t have even known they had been there. At the beginning of one day, there was a huge pile of gravel on the side of the street. At the end of the day, several crew members swept the area. They left the street completely free of debris and even cleaner than it was originally! I really wanted to take the time to write a review and give them a shout out. I wish they had done my landscaping. The quality of their work and professionalism is top notch. And I’m very happy my neighbor chose them to do their landscaping. Thanks to Michael and his crew, I’ll enjoy looking out my office window at their beautiful backyard for years to come!

  Michael and his crew at Backes Landscaping were excellent. They rebuilt a 40' garden retaining wall which had collapsed behind my home. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. Their bid was well below numerous other bids I obtained and the job came in well under the estimate! I highly recommend Backes Landscaping!

  Michael and his team are amazing. We could not be happier. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. We have never dealt with a company with such great communication. They showed up exactly when they said they would and finished right on time (even though we added on to the project). They even came in under budget! They are extremely professional and accommodating. If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would. They built a rock staircase with a flagstone walkway and it is even better than we had imagined.
