Bought wood. Paid more for seasoned dry wood, The wood was not dry, couldnt start a fire, The wood was too big and dirty and not seasoned. They dumped chips and concrete on my driveway. I complained about paying more for seasoned wood, and the wood was not seasoned, they never responded, oh they did by asking me my address, never heard from them again. The BBB could not find this business.

These guys are crooks. They sell firewood and then come and dump the wood in your driveway. When you stack it, it is NOT a cord. Its barely half a cord. Plus there's a lot of garbage wood chips included that you did not expect. So its a huge mess when then dump it on you. They charge a high "stacking fee" but you end up getting ALMOST the amount of wood you're supposed to get in a cord. They do not risk meeting or exceeding expectations. Don't buy wood from these crooks. What a disgrace to a family business. They also have NO care for customer service or satisfaction. Its as if they are doing you a favor. You're better off buying it on craigslist.

1. The level of unprofessionalism was staggering. 2. Miscommunications that botched job could have been avoided if they complied with our initial requests to meet face to face with us for an estimate. They did everything they could for as long as they could to remain faceless. 3. When the estimate was done, the original story was that they knocked on my door, no one answered, so they went ahead with the estimate. Someone is *always* home at my house -- it would have been impossible for someone to knock on our door with it going unnoticed. Later, their story was that they never even knocked on the door and went ahead with the estimate. They couldn't even keep up with their lies. 4. **They damaged parts of our house.** 5. They can't stick to verbal contracts. As a first time landscaping customer, I did make a few mistakes myself that did not benefit/protect me in this business transaction. Lessons learned: 1. Get everything in writing. Everything. 2. If a representative refuses to do the initial estimate face-to-face, find someone else. (If the company is not innovative and smart enough with their budget to be able to afford the time for someone to meet with people, they're not running their business correctly at all and chances are, there's other things they're not doing right/willing to take the time to resolve to have the company run more smoothly.)
