  Summer of 2021 - First time I used this company, I had to call for service every time even though we had an agreement of having the grass cut every other Friday! I understood when the weather was an issue or when his mower broke ( not ones but twice- even when he stated he had 2 of them):. I personally spoke with Bill (owner) and was told he will come and cut it - he didn’t show up! Very unprofessional,. Not a way to run a business! When he did show up, the job was done right! Preferred that he would have told me that he wasn’t able to do the job!

  I was looking for someone to do spring cleanup and then regular maintenance mowing. Buddy Guild was quick to respond to my initial inquiry for a quote and showed up in a timely manner. I had another company slated to give me a quote as well, but after meeting Buddy, who was personable, local, and gave a very reasonable quote, I offered him the job, which he accepted, and canceled the appointment with the other company. Buddy said he would be out to do the job the middle of the following week. He never showed up. Never called. Did not return any of several calls. Not one word. Had he simply called or called back to say he would not be able to take on the job, I would not be writing this review. In the meantime, I was left trying to find someone available and affordable to handle additional weeks worth of growth on a vastly overgrown property.

  A couple of months ago, I left a glowing referral for Buddy and his team. I was happy to do it because the work he did for me was excellent and quick. In fact, when he was done, I hired him to regularly mow my large yard. He came back a few weeks later and did a really good job Mowing and trimming my 3+/- mowable acres. When he finished, we decided that he should come back 10 days later to do the second cut. Two weeks later, when I hadn't heard from him, I contacted buddy and he promised he would be there 2 Days Later. Nope. No call, no text, no answers to my calls and texts. He totally ghosted me for what now has been an entire week. If he didn't want the work anymore, fine. All he had to do to say so. But his complete lack of communication has now cost me additional money because the grass has gotten high and other people are charging a premium. I hold Body Guild completely responsible for the additional money that I have to shell out because he couldn't be bothered to honor our agreement or contact me at all. Robert S.
