  We hired Artisan to replace our back deck. We signed a contract with Dan Renteria on May 19th with a 50% deposit. We understand that the material had to be special ordered which took awhile. Artisan began work- tore out old lumber and replaced quite a few joists. We were satisfied with the work. In early September while we were out of town Artisan replaced about 2/3 of the top decking. However, the color was incorrect. Our contract is for a tan Trex and a gray Trex was put down. When we called Dan, he said that his supplier ordered the wrong color, and he would need more money to reorder the correct color Trex. We advanced him another 1/2 of the remaining balance. That is the last time we have seen Dan. We have called and texted many times and have only received a couple of responses. All with various excuses as to why he hasn't come to finish the work. Most of the time he doesn't respond at all. We are greatly disappointed and feel that he will not be back to complete the work. We had good expectations for his work and reliability. We can not recommend this company.

  Stay away did a deck for my 75 year old parents and took their money.Wont return any calls or texts just left the job unfinished.They have tried to contact him for over a month with no response.

  They do great work, always on time & very dependable. Finished on time & on budget. I will use them again for sure. Love my new outdoor kitchen. :)
