  So Mike was in the area cleaning up around the power lines. I asked him to walk my property and give me an idea of what he thought would be ideal trees to remove to save me from some headaches in the future. Once he was done with his current work he took his own time and stayed to walk it with me. He was very honest as to what was out there and what I should keep my eyes on. Fast forward a few months when I have finally purchased my home and am ready for the removal. He was quick to get me into his schedule. He was thorough and quick with the work. There was a hiccup that neither of us expected but he worked with it and didn't let it stop him. I would definitely recommend him to have removals! If I have a need for more in the future I know who I am calling.

  I've had Mike cut several trees for me, over the years. He's always been quick to respond to my calls, professional in his work and beyond fair in price. I'd recommend him and his service to anyone that needs trees limbed, removed or if you just have a question about a tree that might be a concern. He's given me soild guidance on what trees were safe to leave standing and what needed to come down, as they were a danger to leave as they were. I appreciate the service that Mike and his crew provide. They get the job done quickly, clean up after and don't break the bank. I highly recommend Alaska Tree Expect Co.

  The owner, Mike Ramsay, is a very unprofessional and rude man. Here is my story. Around Memorial Day, this company was trimming trees on my road around power lines. I asked for a quote. Nice enough guy, the quote seemed fair, we agreed. He said maybe the following week. I told him I would have to budget the money and get in touch with him. He said don't worry about it, I could get him when I had the money. Well he never showed but that was fine with me because I don't like owing people and prefer to have the funds to pay when the work is done. Fast forward a few weeks. I contacted him and said I was ready and when could he do it? He told me sometime the following week (this week). I said great! By Thursday, there was no contact. I sent a text and no reply. I then went to Facebook and expressed my unhappiness with the lack of communication and could anyone suggest a different company? Within 10 minutes of my post, I get a call from him. Him: So, are we cutting your trees? Me: I have no ide- Him: (cuts me off) Well I don't appreciate you airing your dirty laundry on Facebook! I am a busy man. Me: I was looking for other options because I hadn't heard from you. Him: There are lots of other options out there. You know what? Get someone else to cut your frickin trees!" I hung up. I was in shock that someone running a business would be that way. Dirty laundry? I posted something on my personal Facebook page and then he calls me and reams me a new one for HIS actions. My Facebook flooded with messages and stories of other people having similar interactions with him. Save yourself the trouble and poor treatment of this unprofessional company. If I could give zero stars, I would. REPLY from owner says I am known for negativity and poor reviews and yet, out of 6 reviews I have done on Google, only the one for his is 1 star. The others are 4 or 5 stars.

  So sorry to hear that you feel this way. My version of this story is much different than yours. I have plenty of glowing reviews, my work speaks for itself. I asked around about you and you are known for negativity and leaving poor reviews.
