  When we transitioned my parents to Sunnybrook, they all helped with the difficult transition. They took care of everything and were with us every step of the way. They continue to keep us updated about our parents and we love the care and attention they provide! The facility is really nice and clean and they provide alot activities to keep everyone entertained! The food is great as well!!

  Mom really enjoys Sunnybrook. It has been a good transition from living alone to living in a community. She has made friends. We really appreciate how the staff and other residents look out for each other and care about how others are doing. Mom enjoys the food and participates in activities. It's cute how the residents decorate their entry doors for the seasons. Many leave their doors open and enjoy to wave and say hello if they are in their rooms.

  Having to put your loved one in an assisted facility is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. It makes it even harder when you don't live near them. When it was time for use to put my parents in an assisted living facility, my brother found one in Muscatine, Sunnybrook. They had nice apartments, common areas, activities, a work shop area for my dad. The day came and we were still nervous and scared but the Sunnybrook team (Megan and Megan) were there for us throughout the whole thing and went above and beyond to help us. It has now been about 10 months and my parents have settled into a somewhat normal routine. My dad helps with a lot of the planting of flowers and plants and my mom will help him. My mom really likes to socialize so she will go down to visit with the ladies, put puzzles together, watch a good movie on Sunday afternoon with popcorn. Sunnybrook always has something special going on and things to do to keep the residents entertained and busy. We are so blessed for everyone who works at Sunnybrook to make everything special for my parents. I don't know what we would have done without them. No words can express how much we appreciate them in the care of our parents and the residents who live there. Thank You!!! Deborah Sywassink Moore
