  The most unprofessional company and service. They left holes and ruts all over my yard and said it's extra to fill it. He then went on to say what a good job they did cleaning everything up. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Not to mention all the failed attempts to get them out in the first place. The day he was supposed to be here he had his WIFE text my husband his after the time stated saying the truck broke down. You get what you pay for. Completely unprofessional garbage.

  Hello Kristin, we are sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with the work that we did. I apologize that we were unable to do the work initially because our bucket truck broke down. In efforts to compensate for this delay, we agreed not to charge you for removing the row of bush stumps that you wanted to be removed. Unfortunately, we must grind into the dirt to make sure we remove all roots which left a dirt section that we leveled off as shown in the first picture. Because of the large amount of rainfall we had recently, the machine left dirt tracks which are temporary, unlike ruts. We understood that you wanted this job done immediately despite the rain. From our understanding, we agreed that we would remove the tree, grind the stump, and push the stump mulch back into the hole and into a pile. We understand that you are unsatisfied with the pile of stump mulch, and we would be happy to discuss what you would like to be done further to correct this issue. Our company provides an additional service where we can remove the stump mulch and install dirt and grass seed. Additionally, I offered to bring dirt to fix any turf damage we have caused, but if you have changed your mind and would still like this done, you can contact me at (815)762-4821.

  Excellent job! Had a medium size tree fall after storm and called Jerome and told him I was cutting the limbs, trunk, etc. Asked if he could come by and grind the stump when I was done so I could replant another tree. He told me he would be out that day! True to his word within a couple hours he was there before I even had all the limbs cut off the trunk. He finished off the trunk into movable pieces with his chainsaw and then ground the stump and roots leaving a good spot to replant. They moved the logs to the curb for the city truck to pick up and also raked the area collecting all debris for disposal. Outstanding job and they exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend Abe's be your first call. Don't waste your time on anyone else. I will definitely call them again anytime I need any of their services. Oh and by the way, the price was great.   I have two stars because they did grind out my stumps. Same experience here as far as not showing up when he said and not honoring agreements. We got a price which was honored but was agreed to take the wood chips with them. They weren't going to do it. It was actually his parents that did the work. They wanted more money and we said it was agreed by Jerome. It kept going back and forth. My wife talked to him on the phone and Jerome was not wanting to honor the agreement and swearing at my wife over the phone. Not an enjoyable experience and unprofessional. Do not waste your time with the headache
