Did the work at the estimated price, very thorough. Went above my expectations and even cleaned up some minor issues I hadn't expected him to for a simple leaf pickup. Was friendly to my 3 year old who wanted to help. All around a great experience would definitely hire again.

Cole was eager to get my business that is for sure. However, trying to get him here to give me a quote (which I never received) was interesting. When we finally got a day that worked for both of us, he messaged me 5 minutes after he was supposed to have already been here and said he was running late but on his way. ((No biggie, right?)) 30 minutes pass by and another text came through saying that they were just hitting town, and it shouldn't be much longer. ((ok, wasn't sure where he was coming from but Cadillac isn't big he should totally be here in a few minutes)) Shockingly, another 30 minutes went by and I get yet another text message saying that they are almost here. FINALLY he arrives, only 1 hour late dressed as if he just rolled out of bed. Sweat pants, sweat shirt, floppy shoes and someone else was driving him. Not a very good 1st impression at all. We discussed the lawn and the fact I wanted to remove 4-5" of sand and have 4-5" of nice dirt brought in. He kept insisting that he was the guy for the job and that if I wanted grass I would have grass. ((I can grow grass... that isn't the problem. The problem is sand doesn't hold moisture and I'm tired of watering a lawn that 5 minutes later is dry again. I was upfront and told him we were not going to sign/agree to anything right then and we needed a quote; we're going to get a couple. Fast forward 10 days later... I get a text asking if we were still planning on getting that job done. I informed him again that we were getting quotes and if he would like to be considered he needed to submit a quote. HE HAS YET TO SUBMIT A QUOTE and it has been almost 1 month. Cole is a nice kid, and I'm sure he knows how to grow grass (not that it is rocket science) but his 1st impression needs work and if he wants business, he needs to learn to listen to the customer (or potential customer that is). Asking for a quote is extremely common and if you can't produce a quote, then you won't be considered for the job.
