Maybe it's just me, but I picked up my chain saw that needed a new carburetor, and this is what I get back. It's filthy. You would think they would have cleaned it up even a little bit while working on it...not good customer service. In response to you, it took you several months to get the part in, so this is not true to our knowledge. You are not addressing the complaint. How long would it have taken to clean it up a bit? You had to have taken it apart to fix it. Where is the satisfaction or pride in work well done? No mention of it slipping through the cracks of quality control, or that it isnt how you normally do business. It shows someone did the work on it but they really don't care about the job they are doing. Plus, you answer a customer complaint this way...sad.

Sorry we didn't wipe a rag across the top of your saw. We fixed it six months ago and held it until you came for it and didn't charge for storage like the estimate claims. That should be worth a few stars.

So.. after visiting az small engines I will make time to service and fix my own small engines like I should have done to begin with. Stihl 028 wood boss. Carburetor and oil pump problems. 3 months for the turn around. After paying them the price of a brand new saw to fix this one I still had to replace the oil pump after bringing it back not oiling. Which supposedly had a new pump in it. As a matter of fact when I took it apart the pump was not even complete. Cap was missing and the piston was broke. I'm sure they would have blamed it on me. I had to go through and tighten every bolt and screw where they had it apart. I got the shaft from this place, don't let it happen to you. I would let my grass grow 10 feet high and or freeze to death before I so much as purchased 2 cycle oil from them. This has been some time back but after having to do some service to it after making it right I was furious again after finding that a gasket was missing between the carb an d air filter.

We researched this and found that this work was done in 2019. 3 years ago. We installed carb kit and fixed the oiler / serviced the saw. We test all units after they are fixed and test them again once the customer picks the equipment. On a 028 Stihl there isn't a gasket between the carb and air filter. The air filter mounts directly to the carb.
