  James and his crew are awesome. I waffled a bit on whether or not to remove the tree in question. I contacted James 4+ months after my initial estimate and he honored the initial quote. His crew showed up much earlier than expected and went straight to work. They had the job done quickly, cleaned up their mess, and left my yard looking much improved. I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. Great group and I will definitely reach out to them in the future.

  I see a lot of positive review's on how well A Cut Above Tree Service is at trimming and removing tree's. I agree on all account's that James and his crews are very prompt, competent, knowledgeable and professional in this area of their business. Our experience with James and his crew has involved both trimming and removal but I think that our best experience(s) with James involves the planting of nearly 50 trees on our property. James was involved in the design, purchase and planting of almost every tree on our property and has been accessible without fail if we had a question or concern regarding the trees/shrubs that A Cut Above planted or tree's that we wanted to plant. Out of the nearly 50 trees we planted we lost two and James and his crew replaced them without question. If you are on the fence looking for a tree service give James and his company a shot. You won't be sorry.

  We bought a home 3 months ago in Boise. Great house. Unfortunately, it came with two 60 Ft twisted willows with one leaning over onto my neighbors house. I was nervous about what could happen as those trees began to come down. From the time the 4 man crew showed up (on time) to the very end of them cleaning up they were pleasant, efficient and respectful. The climber doing the cutting and the crew below were so synchronized it was a beautiful thing to watch. They were extremely skillful, not one branch landed in the neighbors yard or came close to the house. They protected the lawn, the back patio, everything and spent alot of time cleaning up. The only evidence of them being here are the trees being gone. A Cut Above Tree Service, thank you James and crew. Great experience!
