A Clean Cut just finished a major landscaping job for us, and here are the results. They used paver stones to line our gardens and circle our trees, digging out the trench around, filling with crushed gravel, then placing and cementing the pavers in place. They then added more mulch and cleaned everything up at the end. The job took several days to accomplish, which I was told it would, and the results are fantastic. We also use this company for our regular lawn maintenance (mowing, fertilization, weed control). They show up on time and are very prompt and courteous. I have enjoyed my interactions with Jeff Watkins, the owner. He is very polite and knowledgeable of his business. He keeps me informed when jobs will be done. I would recommend A Clean Cut for any landscaping or lawn job you have. We will definitely continue to use them!

So I hate to write a negative review, but since they will not respond to my phone calls and emails I'm hoping they will make an effort after reading this review. They were supposed to provide 4 tons of sand/dirt mix to my house to level out my yard where there were ruts and low spots at an agreed upon price. They seemed to be very busy so it took a long time to come out to my house, which is understandable. When they finally arrived, 3 guys with the equivalent of a pick-up truck bed of dirt showed up and spent 30 minutes to spread what they had, which didn't even make a dent in what needed to be done. I spoke to the crew foreman and he agreed with me that it wasn't what I needed or what was agreed to. Then they ended up charging me the full amount for the dirt and labor that was agreed on initially. I called them and they refunded my money, and they said they would charge me after the work was completed. They have never come back to my house. They have since charged me the full amount 2 more times but thankfully have refunded me both times. Otherwise I'd have to get with my credit card company to dispute the charges and go through that messy process. Since they placed the initial dirt in the yard and it has all settled, I noticed it was full of rocks. That's the last thing I need in my yard. I emailed multiple times and tried calling multiple times (you can't leave a voice-mail, the mailbox is always full) to tell them to cancel the rest of the work and that I would pay them for the limited work that they did. This has been going on for weeks now, and I can't get any response. I highly suggest NOT using this company. Good luck getting them to respond to you anyway even if you wanted to. Hopefully they will reach out to me and I can change my rating for them, but I'm not holding my breath.

UPDATE*** After a few more weeks of frustration, we have canceled our services. Despite calls, emails, and texts, the only communication I've received was after this initial review was posted and shortly after I emailed to cancel. I'm saddened by how poorly we were treated and wish a Clean Cut the best, but HIGHLY caution anyone thinking of working with them. ORIGINAL REVIEW*** I hate to post this, but working with a clean cut lawn care has become a nightmare. We've been using them for lawn mowing and maintenance for about a year. Through the summer and fall, they were excellent - they showed up on time, were flexible, kind, and responsive. However since the start of the year, it has been silent and service has been poor. We have been charged on a regular basis for grass treatments that we did not know were still occurring as I couldn't get in touch with anyone. When it came time for mowing to start up again, we never received any information. I started reaching out to them in April, sometimes calling over 20 times in a week, emailed, FB messaged, and even posted on FB with no response. Finally (early June) someone got back to me explaining that they had some unforeseen employee turnover and they wanted to get me back on the schedule. They came once, and I have not heard from them since when I have reached out. While I want to be compassionate towards everything they seem to be going through, I'm extremely disappointed. I'd be more than happy to update my review and would love to see them redeem themselves, but I'm not feeling optimistic.
